See title. What’s the proper report function for these cases? We have a teleporter.

Send a letter to Santa, at least that way you actually get a response!

In game if you can tag them. Report for botting. If you can record it there is an email address someone will probably post (exploits@arenanet.com) maybe.

Bummer. I didn’t realize that he was hacking until after he res-ported away, so I have nothing for evidence. I guess I can at least report for botting. Thanks.

Don’t bother is my suggestion. I have seen hacking go on for weeks/months and nothing happens after numerous reports, screenshots, etc. Same hacks that allow bots and teleports since release are still working.

I’ve always wondered why they don’t give you an option to select for hacking. We’re told to pick “botting” for literally everything. Someone wasting supplies & building troll siege? Select botting. Someone using warp hacks? Select botting. Someone exploiting a broken mechanic ingame, report as botting.

Doesn’t really instill confidence anything would be done when you can’t even report people properly.

Report it on Reddit. It seems the devs spend a bit of time over there compared to this forum. It’s worked for others recently(a few just in the last couple weeks). Yeah, I’ve gotten discouraged with hackers before, and thought that reporting or making threads doesn’t work, but how else will the hackers (eventually) get caught?

I suggest having recording software with a hot button handy. Video proof is the best you can give. Along with the day/time of the incident. Someone already posted the email to send exploit reports, vids ect. Then make a reddit thread. Watch it a few times to actually make sure they aren’t hacking if you’re not 100% on it. Maybe have someone who’s unbiased take a look before you send it off. Sending false accusations waste people’s time, best to make sure.

Perhaps because 90% of reports are from people who have no clue of what is legit in the game and what requires 3rd party program.

Now give those people actual report option for hacking … plague in anet HQ’s.

idk why people use that… its layout is crap, upvotes/downvotes are crap, and the comment indentation thing, guess what? crap.
