Added armor and weapon sets, titles, and no culling. What about fixing the orbs? Many players and I also discussed how back when it was the “Feb” patch there was suppose to be a new map? Also i feel the “weapon and armor skins” on the WvW sets are completely boring. I cant believe it took a year since launch to throw this together. I cant help but feel a little shafted.

This was an amazing update…I guess there will always be the people who can never be satisfied.

Can`t bring back the orbs when it is so easy to cheat in this game. There has been a speedhacking thief for over a month in my matchup now.

I remember them saying no orbs, they give a big advantage to the already winning team, new map I dont remember them saying that they will add one, one thing is wishing for something and another is them adding it, I for once loved the new update, not all of the stuff I wished got added but it is a really good update, one thing I do want really bad… allow us to kick, invite people to our party inside wvw xd.

There are those of us out there who care little to nothing about titles or skins. We just want to win. Making wvw less about winning and more about capping everything as fast as possible is really annoying to people who play to win

1) game launched 7 months ago, not a year.
2) Anet has NEVER said they’d add a new WvW map.

Can I ask if you think you’ve gotten your money’s worth out of GW2?

Yep because that is all this update did for WvW…Add titles and skins. It’s amazing how people on the internet always leave out details to further their own points.

I agree it was my choice to spend money on gems but I could have never funded wvw without doing it. When you are losing 20+ gold every week in wvw and u find pve so boring there isn’t much of an option other than to stop trying to win

I agree it was my choice to spend money on gems but I could have never funded wvw without doing it. When you are losing 20+ gold every week in wvw and u find pve so boring there isn’t much of an option other than to stop trying to win

4 hours of farming CoF and you’d have more than 30 gold to spend on WvW. It’s what I’m currently doing and I’m not seeing a big decrease in my wallet.

I would rather spend 4 hr working to get the money to buy the gems than do those boring as hell dungeons

All I do is WvW and I have never had an issue with gold. I am not rich by any means (I have never had more than 50 gold at any one time). Generally, I only have ~5 gold on me, but I tend to use that as a buffer and spend it as I get it.

I do have to save up for a bit to get certain things, like gearing up a newly leveled character. So, during those times I just rely on siege I have piled up. At the end of the day, I always buy one balista, one AC, and one flame ram and put it in the bank. Thats in addition to the 10+ of each I buy each day.

The only time I PvE is when I am leveling. I dont like dungeons (waiting for AI to get to an acceptable level.. its gonna be a long wait!).

I have never used real money to buy gems. Though, I bought my bank upgrades, etc earlier in the game and will admit they were more affordable then with in-game gold. I also dont play the TP (if I wanted to do that, I would be playing EvE honestly).

All of that said, I was slightly disappointed with the update. Not because it didnt cater to me specifically (which is what seems to be bothering most people), but just because the scope of it doesnt seem to reflect the months and months of time supposedly invested. I hope, and actually expect, that it is just a foundation for further expansion though and in that respect, can see where they are going with it. In time, it should be a pretty cool system.

I love the removal of culling. I am perfectly ok with the removal of orbs. I would even go so far as to say they should replace the outmanned buff, rather than make the strongest team even stronger.

I should say use to irritate me. I don’t play much anymore because I find it so annoying that people don’t care about winning and anet doesn’t do anything to change it

4 armour sets for different situations. I would have 30 rams, ac, balista and cats. 20 trebs, sup ac,rams,balista,cats. 10-15 golems, sup trebs and 2-5 omega golems. would use all that in about 10 days. The arms and ac went faster. Plus upgrades of stuff
