So what are you guys opinions on what it would take before Anet actually accept they are pretty clueless when it comes to WvW and balance? I mean EVERYTHING they have done for WvW seems to be with the aim of destroying it.

What do you guys think it would take for them to listen to us and actually make changes that would BENEFIT WvW rather then line their pockets with people being forced to pay to move servers?

Bloodlust – As pretty much everyone expected (Except Anet!) was a terrible idea the buff is FAR to strong and benefits the server that has the most people and 99% of the time that server is already winning and doesnt need the buff thanks to overwhelming numbers.

Leagues – Just an example of Anet trying to squeeze as much as they can out of players hoping they will buy gems and transfer because alot of the lower severs are going to struggle and of course they want to win but the rewards will make people be willing to pay to transfer to a bigger server.

Masteries – Terrible, from the start terrible and yet keep adding more stuff that moves AWAY from Player Vs Player to Siege Vs Player and some servers just go crazy creating insane amounts.

Can anyone actually think of a GOOD update for WvW recently?

I hope to believe Anet had some old /failed projects laying around they are now implementing to stall for time to deliver on a real WvW map with some great architecture and epic landscapes and very diverse ways to assault objectives to replace these… vast spaces of unimmaginative and empty.

well, before adding all those offensive masteries, they should have improved the keeps and towers and added a new upgrade tier soe those flamrams trebs and all that wouldnt give an outnumbering server the upper hand in battles around keeps. facing a giant zerg and defending is pretty hard as no wall is safe with the mass aoes from necros and eles.

the towers and keeps are to close. garrison shouldnt be trebbed from craig and woodhaven towers for example. and the trebmastery will drain all supply from u. if u have only 15 people defending vs 60, there is not much u can do about those trebs.

the layout of the keeps is not good vs ac treb and flamram mastery either. your acs cant take down the rams anymore and all the masteries keep giving the dominating server the upper hand. its time to improve the keeps and towers.

if an enemy zerg breakes through outer, there should be a way to slow them down with traps andother things. in eb jp there is a way to trap enemies, there is multiple traps anyways…..my friend trapped 3 thieves that were ganking everyone and that is how keeps should work too.

the ruins offer a lot of little passages and hidingspots and i think keeps should be the same way.

I have long given up hope, everything they have been doing seems to point to the same thing:

Kill WvW, Get them into S/TPvP

They dont understand though – if we liked S/TPvP we would be doing it now. The problem is S/TPvP is not fun. The match type is very boring and it just seems you either go Zerker or you go Bunker….YAWN.

The moronic idea that S/TPvP could become a eSport which in its current state it stands NO chance should not be a reason to destroy a mode that so many people love.

Personally, i am awaiting TES:O to see what that has to offer. Meant to have its own WvW mode, all characters can use ALL armor and ALL weapons. Worried about the combat though.

Yeah, they need to add some Mastery for DEFENSE. When you have a zerg server that is nothing but a brainless zerg they can have like 4-5 Catas and trebs up in a matter of seconds.

Siege simply does to much damage to walls and doors, when you are out numbered it is bad enough but when you are out numbered and they are just spamming more and more siege you have no chance

At least S/TPvP has gotten several maps, what has WvW Masteries, S/TPvP content and thats about it stuff that actually makes the WvW mode WORSE.

The sigils i dont really care about, They just need to stop with the VERY clear attempts of trying to force people in S/TPvP accept that we dont want to play it and we wont until get new match types – standing on a node is SO boring…

As spvp has become a stale mess of rank grinding trough jumping off skyhammer I doubt many WvW-ers will stay there long either..

I mean it can be fun for a few rounds..
