Guild Wars 2

Okay so here is the deal. I do these jumping puzzles to help out on the cost of WvW blueprints. As I am not in a guild or anything I tend to try and help out when someone says they need something in X location and I really can’t afford some of the blueprints without doing these puzzles.

With that out of the way yesterday I did the jumping puzzles around 2pm EST. (Well before the 8pm est chest reset time). I also did all three of the lions arch puzzles at about 3:30pm. I end up logging off at about 5pm and thought at 8pm all would reset. Well I took a bit of a nsooze and woke up at 12:30 and figured I would get the WvW ones done first and I stealthily work my way there just to find the first chest still open. I then move over to Lions arch and I do the 3 there and all 3 chests are closed and able to be looted.

This tells me that the WvW chests are not on the same time are the PvE stuff. What is the timer for these chests in WvW? At this point kind of afraid to try Eternal Battlegrounds one just to find out that chest may not have reset either considering how camped that jumping puzzle always seems to be.

They reset 24 hours after you open them. Actually, it’s probably 23 or something so you can do them at around the same time every day even if one day you take longer or something.

I find it very annoying, but its roughly 24 hours after you loot them.

Nothing worse slogging it through enemy territory and fighting through a bunch of campers only to find an open chest. Not only does it wastes my time, but also wastes the server’s war effort as they’re down one player and no free siege to show for it.

If there was some way of knowing if the chests were not reset before you even enter the puzzle. That would be handy. At least the PVE chests have a fixed reset time.
