When is stealth abuse going to be fixed?
I agree. But there is one simple thing to do to stop them from preventing a cap, everyone stack on one point. They must come to you. Use every type of knock down or AoE on your stacked group. 90% of the time they will run.
I know it’s difficult to get a pug to understand this concept but when they see it work it will become the norm.
This also works in the open field as long as no other animals are too close for them to regain stealth.
The community must start doing this to negate the curent thief population that is abusing the current culling/rendering issues that make the build feasible in the first place.
Spread the word and it will catch on as it is on our server.

Only if relying on Cloak n’ Dagger. Have they fixed the finisher-stealth trick?
I want to point one thing out with Cloak and Dagger.
Even when stealth gets fixed, a thief who times his CnD just right will still nearly permastealth all the time. The only difference that SHOULD happen is that you should be able to see the cloak particle effects when culling gets fixed when you chain CnD properly.
I’ve got a lot of time on my thief and a lot of time stopping captures, so I have the timing down to the T for all my stealths. I play right now with the mindset that culling doesn’t exist, because someday it won’t.
And when it doesn’t exist anymore, this Thief right here will be your worst nightmare.

Dagger/Pistol traited for initiative gain.
Drop a smoke field (Pistol 5: Black Powder) and leap finisher over it (Dagger 2: Heart Seeker) to get stealth without having to attack anyone.
Have to turn auto targeting off in options otherwise you will accidentally hit people who spread out in the circle when heart seeker auto targets nearest.
Once again: All that really needs to changed is stealthed players should have no affect on capture circles, similar to sPvP. With that change, permastealth becomes nearly useless aside from trolling.

So this basically states capping issue need to be fixed. And the player must be out of stealth for a given period to stop cap. Or they will just blink in and out of stealth to prevent cap.
