I think this is one of the largest hurdles for anyone to face when they look at the way WvWvW is set up.
“Now what do we do?”
“Where can we go next with this?”
And that is a big question sitting around because, while it seems that many of the Wv3 players are looking for something more it seems that their is a definitive lack of what this “More” should or could be.
I personally would like to see More
Maps.
Yes you heard me, if I am going to have to face the same opponent, at least give me several new maps to do it on.
Gear
Yes that’s right. I said Gear, sorry but what is there, is not enough. We should have our own gear set up in Wv3, and think about it, Wv3 is the perfect set up for grinding tokens. Think of this way, Every time you take a Point, you get a Token.
Keep, Towers, Castles, Camps, all award their own style of tokens (yay Less inventory! Not like we got much loot in Wv3 anyway, so this would at least make us feel like we are getting something)
Then we trade these tokens in for loot equal to Exotics form Dungeons and Karma. This keeping Wv3 a bit more self contained.
Karma
Allow us to Buy stuff with it. Like Siege Weapons, and order upgrades with it, as opposed to using gold. Karma is in ample supply in Wv3, give us a means to use it.
Ok those are my idea, feel free to add to the list as to what you would like to see in WvWvW and where it can go from here.
Please, lets keep this constructive, and please no bashing other peoples ideas.

solid ideas. would flesh out WvWvW a bit and make it at least a little more rewarding and interesting to play
stacking, culling, downed state, anonymous enemies need to be addressed.
instead expect a pvp dungeon to be added, but it will not be like darkness falls, it will be a buggy mess like vulture lord.
Everything else will be patches for spvp which miss the mark, and some holiday events.
Culling will never get addressed. Best to give up on that one and just know that sometimes you are going to die because there are actually 80 players there, not 2.
Some things I would like are more components in WwW only:
- Some different seige types, perhaps some that can be moved slowly.
- More upgrades available to buildings
- More PvE events that provide personal rewards (IE Grub)
- More PvE events that provide server rewards (IE Hylek, Quaggans) that can increase the benefit you already have. So say if you flip hylek, you get hylek guards, then if you cull mosquito population your hylek get (vet) upragaded.
- Siege despawn too quickly, I want to build AC to defend a keep it should be there the next day unless the enemy destroy it!
Thats about it, off the top of my head. I want more content. More things to learn. More tools to incorporate different tactics.
From OP, I´ll second only the “Karma” part .. and fully support “sostronk.8167” suggestion.
Extra maps no, but a new set off maps might be a fresh breeze, but I am still reluctant to this idea.
WvW gear, absolute NO for me.
Buy upgrades with karma, yea requested many times and is a good idea, althou the upgrades are pretty cheap.
Dislike more PvE content, WvW =/= PvE. You got a large world to do PvE in.
Increase siege time to 2 hours would be welcome.

Siege
Reclaiming Left Behind Siege
What would be great if they gave us the ability to dismantle our siege and reclaim some of the supply and a chance at the prints back.
The ability to do this would need to be limited to the person that dropped the siege in the first place however.
Tower Defense Upgrades
I love the idea of Tower/Keep/Castle defensive siege systems, maybe have their own unique items items that don’t go away till the tower is taken. But they go away when the tower is taken.
Moving Siege
I could so get behind the idea of Various kinds of Moving Siege, like Mechanical Massive Bulls that function like battering rams, or Arrow carts that have wheels so we can drag them behind us.
Maybe Different kind of Golems:
Siege Upgrades
Have it so we can get a Cover for the Battering Ram, that protected the people using it from ranged attacks
So yah. That is a great spring board idea that could lead a lot of great stuff being added.
More changes like this would be nice, but I debate the effects of specifically what the OP has suggested. All in all though I think we can all agree that us waiting half a year to be PAR with PVERs is ridiculous(Ascended gear).
While I am sure every idea will have it’s supporters and it’s haters, the hope of this thread is that if you have an idea, feel welcome to share it, and while I realize that in the end, we may very well be talking into the wind, perhaps, maybe, just maybe, someone with the ability to affect the outcome of the game might see an idea they like, or an idea that sparks to other ideas into fruition, and thus hopefully something comes from it.

Armor skins and exotics with the other stat combos, yes this has been needed.
Also a guild message when a guard at your keep/tower is killed would be nice, like “a guard at your keep was killed by (server name) invader”.
WvW seasons with matchup rating reset every three or four months. Curently T1 and T8 are stalemate. Some visiual rewards can be implemented in the future, skins and ranks depending of the ranking at the end of the season.
No more gear than currently implemented, access to ascended is a must have via WvW. Full daily completion at least could be doable via WvW, it is not since 26th Feb.
I would be very happy with Just different styles of maps to be honest, like maybe a “Lava” theme, or even a “Branded” “Risen” and “Icebrood” theme.
Maybe use the difference races as foundations for maps, like a map looking like it was all made by the Charr, or made of Trees, etc, etc.
There is quite a bit they could do, to spice up the maps without making us run even further >.<
I think more maps is something I can get behind. I also think that implementing them with the current ones would allow for more land. If this was coupled with more significant upgrades (over large amounts of time, maybe have them purchasable by the claiming guild with influence), it would create more stable “territories” and lead to some pretty epic battles. If done right, it would also encourage something like secretly taking the main keep first as a viable option to destabilize the region.
I think it would be hard to work it into the one week time frame, but it might be better suited for the multiple week game they had initially envisioned. Runaway servers would still be an issue, but those games are going on for multiple weeks at a time anyway.
I also think that a revision to the outmanned buff would help mitigate server balance issues. In thinking about it, I believe the easiest implementation would be to modify the current out-manned buff to some type of attribute increase, like upleveling. This buff would be map-wide, but in individual fights, the buff would decrease according to how equal the sides are. I think the best range to start the buff would be 5:1 (the AoE limit). Meaning, even if it was 25 vs 5 there wouldnt be a buff. But, start to get into a 50 vs 8, and there would be corresponding buffs to the out numbered side. Obviously, that number would have to be tested. Doing it map wide would allow for total server numbers to be taken into consideration for the max buff possible, to help fight possible exploits.
I think there is a great foundation the build off of with WvW, I just hope it happens in some way!
edit: It also would be neat to add buildable sections of wall to the siege we are able to build.

I would be a-ok with built siege not having a timer on it. The only way to get rid of built siege is to destroy it.
Maps maps maps… Each BL should be a different map IMO. It would provide variety and prevent the staleness of some match ups.
I would also like to see how many Troops Each Side has. Not the exact numbers, but maybe the ratio on the field. Like say, How many they have vs your 1 on the field.
So, like in the UI at the top of the Wv3 Interface, just have the numbers there, that say something like
.75 – (your team is always 1) – 3.5
If you have 4 people for every 3 one teams has, and the other team has 7 on the field for your 2.
Just saying. It would be cool to see something like that, so we could get a clear picture of what we are facing.
