Ok im probably being a total noob not finding this on my own but I have looked and looked and cant find a place to look up who won past matches or what the current rankings are.

Now that there are randomized match ups, such a thing as ranking no longer has any meaning. It’s just meant to be played for fun. There is no other purpose to WvW so long as the Maps can only be won by having superior numbers.

ranking still has whatever meaning you want to give it. randomization hasn’t changed that.

what randomization has changed is how your opponents are chosen. under the old system, #1 always played #2 and #3, and #4 always played #5 and #6, etc. there was no possibility for anything else. under the new system you get things like #9 playing #4 and #5 (that’s us this week — the fact that matchups have some randomization does not stop us from being #9).

who wins in WvW has always been about superior numbers. the new system hasn’t changed that at all (nor was it designed to).
