Why do i want to pvp after my server is already winning or getting destroyed? Why do i care if i throw myself at the enemy if nobody knows how bad i am at the game? Why isn’t there statistics like eg… daoc Camelot Herald? NO IRS? Why nothing to stop open field Zerging? Why no cc? Making the way to play being big Zerg and warhammer supply camp/vet farming/flipping cycle?

Did you not think about these things before release? So my server is #2. But, who cares? I don’t really, you don’t really care. Nobody cares, because we can’t even see our enemies name, there is no community building, no rivalry building. NOTHING

There needs to be more incentive to world vs world than just buffs, that do basically nothing in the grand scheme. Who cares if you have buffs to “farm medals” that you can’t even pick up because the Zerg just ran you over?

I had high hopes for GW2, i was hoping there was some kind of small group/guilds could take out the larger non coordinated Zergers.But it’s not happening.

What do you want Mr. Ranter?

  1. A website with constant updating statistics for top 10 classes in each pre determined category. kills/deaths/IRS etc.. Same thing for guilds.
  1. Ranks you can achieve in PVP not called SPVP.. meaning world vs world. I want there to be ranks that grant special skills, much like DAOC’s rank system, something similar. No i won’t care if you are copying.
  1. AUTO LOOT., Come on now who has time to spam F when the Zerg is coming? Do i really need to run auto it.. constantly hitting f while i’m pvp’n? Seriously?

That’s all i need from world vs world.Is it too much to ask for?

No special skills because you played longer, other than that I like what you’ve proposed.

Also, there is a way to counter the zerg, its called the arrowcart.

Auto loot is something that MUST be added. I’m so agree with you. I’m running everywhere and miss so much loots :/

Arrowcart’s aren’t a counter to the Zerg unless you’re in a standoff… and then they can always flank you. I’m not talking about 25 people… i’m talking 5-10 man’s

A zerg that’s not in a standoff (I assume by standoff you mean attacking or defending a point) isn’t a problem. It’s literally doing nothing except running around ganking people and not winning the game. So they don’t really need to be fought until they come to a standoff, at which point zergs will counter them.

And can a 5-10 man group really be considered a zerg?

If my guild takes the supply camp, you can be assured HOD server is bringing 30 to take it back. It never fails.

Ah, I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Still though, a group that small can still hold off a zerg for a while, as proven by another post here on the forums.

Happened to my guild yesterday. We defended with 15 people against a 30+ zerg. Strategic arrow carts behind buildings that allowed vision of the entrance and constantly fighting in the circle while rezzing the fallen allowed us to win.

No extra abilities from RP rank plz, the title is enough but yes i would love to see something showing the top 10 players/guilds per server with top kills, keep defense, keep takes, etc.
