Because PvE players spend way more on gems than WvW players do, and sPvP is a perceived advertising and revenue source for them. That’s all I can think of. There’s no way mroe players play sPvP than even the lowest tier server group on a given night. I’m willing to bet the server with the lowest wvw population period has more people wvw’ing than the total number of people in sPvP in a given time, yet look how much attention sPvP gets. I just don’t get it.
