Hi

Where is the best place to go in WvW if I want a good roaming experiente?

Also, does it matter a lot what server do you belong?
If so, what EU servers are better at that?

Hands down, Edge of the Mists. Best map for solo or small group roaming.

Go to an enemy Borderland, patrol the area between the two southern towers and the southern camp.

if you’re not getting much action another good spot is the sentries on each side of the garrison. kill the sentry, kill the two yaks as they make their way down the path, then go back to the water, switch sides and do the same thing, rinse repeat.

pretty much everyone can kill sentries/yaks and those are high foot traffic areas to bump into solo or small groups.

alternate option: if you can solo camps, then just go in a circle capping all of them, you’ll get enemy attention soon enough =)

Eotm is horrible for solo roaming, in the vast majority of cases when you meet enemies they will outnumber you 40+ to 1.

Typically it’s best to roam enemy borderlands and starting with the two supply camps nearest to your spawn and then working your way north. You can also roam the north side of your own borderland if much of it is captured by an enemy server. I would not roam EoTM or EBG because you are going to get zerged there more often.

Just use the map to your advantage, it gives plenty ways to escape. And usually ktrain wont follow a solo roamer anyway.

Agreed… the runs are also far too long for decent roaming. When we control SM, I find hunting by the guard flags in enemy territory fun. Roaming in the south areas of a BL are probably the best.

Here are some of my preferred roaming spots .

EBG, Between SMC and Blue gate. You can sit outside the wall and kill people coming out all day.
EBG Between SMC and Green gate, stand on the little cliff and jump down on players running up the road to SMC
Area between the 2 bottom boarder camps on all 3 BL , got a lot of good 1 v 1 there. Bring your A game if you roam there.
Area between Bay and Garri on all 3 BL

Edit: Forgot to add the middle of the map in Edge of the mist. Esp if you are blue.

That said roaming is pretty boring in WvW. It is basically a lot of running, then you win or lose a fight, then repeat. To clarify, I do mean roaming, not small group running around together.
