Which EU servers are best for roaming?
If i would be roamer and got balls i would go server where i would be only roamer.
Seafarer’s Rest EotM grinch

That’s it no more drugs for you!
But seriously, how are the medium populated servers?
Just wondering wich servers have the most active roamers and roaming parties? High population servers are out of the question i am in one atm, and basically you always encounter a mini zerg after 5-10 min
Desolation currently doesn’t have many roaming teams, so we could surely use help on that. If you want the highest amount of ganking teams, go to Gandara or Kodash, but then don’t come here to complain that the enemy servers have less roaming teams. It would be better for the health of the roaming meta if the roamers would spread more evenly on different servers. If I run solo and encounter an enemy ganking team who chases me down and I see them harassing other Desolation players, I will surely summon enough players to kill them. And probably do it many times so that they will leave that map.
I disagree that you cannot roam on high population servers. Sure, it is difficult in EU tier 1, but if you are sneaky you can solo or duo towers and keeps even during the busiest prime time hours. Outside prime time, a typical commander party (the blue dorrito) is 2-10 players and most enemy teams are similar size, so it is almost like roaming. The number of players outside the prime time is low and that should alert the developers that something should be done to pull the players back to WvWvW.

Actually i wouldn’t call 10 people a roaming team, roaming teams for me are 2-4, max 5 to 6 people, anything beyond that is mini zerg but i dunno why you wouldn’t agree that on tier 1 servers you cannot roam, you are bound to encounter enemy zerg within 10 min.
What do you guys think of Piken Square or Gunnar’s Hold?

You would be better off in a silver league server if you wanted to avoid the “mini zegs” you described. Harass anybody from a t1 server long enough and they will send multiple guys just to deal with one. You can roam on any server though, it’s not impossible, just much harder in t1 because of the size. I roam in t1, but I only roam once most people have gone to sleep, then I only run into other roamers, and not zergs. Albeit you still get the odd 20 man group if you’re not careful, but it’s always easier to roam after hours. I also find that more people roam outside of prime time, than in it, probably for the reasons mentioned above. So if you wanted to roam in t1, I would suggest roaming after hours, if that doesn’t fit your schedule then perhaps silver league servers would be a better option.
It is not what you do, but how and why you do it that counts.
I can actually find some good fights here and there, like against JS and SFR this week after Prime Time which is the time that most Guilds Raid, but alot of the time there are just groups ganking in T1, even on Desolation’s behalf.
Of course you can’t expect a fair fight apart even in a Duel you can face a baf matchup, but it’s probably more preferable for solo’ers; if you can’t find any enough people to tag along with.

Keep in mind when i say roaming server, i don’t mean a dead one, just a server that people roam much more than they zerg, i was thinking bronze league but maybe silver league is good too i am not sure anymore , also i want a server where zerg fights are max 15 people not 40 people… so please, leave suggestion rather than saying " you can still roam in gold league servers"
I play silver server myself, and I love to roam. It is possible, even at primetimes. The only problem is that if you play offpeak hours, you really have to find enemies because many players in silver decided to go gold.

Aurora Glade has roamers and it’s well populated. Sure you wil find big zeergs in peak times (when you can avoid them and roam). Early in morning or late at night the main commander group wil not have more than 15 people usually.
I would suggest silver league server. I havn’t played bronze so can’t comment, but people saying that there are not many people for proper action. “Gold” league should be renamed to Skritt league, so as a non zergling I would not touch it.
Piken has roamers, I myself run mostly solo or in 2-4 player groups. Unfortunately we’ve been facing gold leagues servers ever since last season ended so basically we’re up against blobs, which sucks donkeycojones.
I’d gladly recommend Piken for you Hyperion.
Aurora Glade, Gunner’s Hold and Piken Square.
You can’t be wrong with choosing either.
check out popular streamers on those servers if you wish to see a glimpse from their pov for yourself regarding their roaming environment.

So other than that silver league has lost a lot of guilds and players; so has gold even, but then most if not all the top guilds left are in Gold – which is what players used to say about Gold being too blobby last year.
So what difference does it make if there are more streamers though, wouldn’t there be more of a chance of fighting skilled players on more populated servers? It’s not like we are lacking small scale here and there are plenty of GvG guilds, or even skilled pvpers that don’t just ‘zerg’. The same goes for Youtubers really, no matter how many likes or subs it doesn’t make individuals/groups more skilled compared to others, no matter the Tier or Server they play on.
Also think about the community you want to be a part of, in whatever capacity you have to get on with some people.

So between the next ones:
6th Gandara
7th Far Shiverpeaks
1oth Piken Square
15th Gunnar’s Hold
Wich one is best for roaming and small scale fights, but is also not dead.

Gandara is probably full,
FSP is usually full,
Piken is definitely full++,
Gunnars has no very few, tiny queues and only at prime time

Piken has queue to EB in PT, but that’s it. No queues on either borderland unless there’s havoc and we want to defend/take stuff back.

Ah there you go then, I recommend Piken. In my experience (the recent tournament) there will be a lot of people evenespecially over night and you’ll help them get up to the tiers where there’s no roaming enemy guildgroups, just endless b-lobs teleporting from waypoint to waypoint. Have fun. T2 EU!
