Hello.

My Question is for Warriors in WWW i am currently running ^ runes of Hoebreak that’s what all the warriors and Guardians are running, would Strength runes be better, give you more power and might?

IMO Hoelbrak is better in WvW because of the -20% Condi duration. Big bonus for a little damage reduction trade-off.

Strength/Scholar are arguably much better in PvE, but thats another matter.

Depends on what you want to do:
Solo roaming: Strength
Solo roaming and access to might: Strength

Zerg: Hoelbrak or Melandru if you struggle with conditions.

If you’re zerging, that should mean you’re in a decent party composition. That means 2 guardians, you, and two DPS (probably necros). You should be running Quick Breathing and Sword/Warhorn, with Shake It Off. So thats 3+3+1+1+1 condition clears, plus the reduced condition duration given by Purging Flames. On top of that, warrior having the highest natural health pool gives you plenty of buffer room for any remaining condis.

That’s why I prefer to rune Strength Runes in a zerg, as the additional DPS is as equal to or more beneficial than Hoelbrak. Hoelbrak is nice if you find yourself roaming or small grouping, then I would say Hoelbrak.

holbrak for guardians, trooper or melandru for warriors

Hoelbrak, Troopers, Melandru are probably your top three choices for WvW. If your roaming solo or with a small group, Strength could be fun but I personally would still take Hoelbrak over Strength in any situation except maybe PvE.
