Guild Wars 2

Bunch of friends and I looking for a good wvw small man pvp server with a good community for pvp. Anyone know of any?

SBI has pretty good roamers. The server is a large majority pugs/militia with a few medium sized guilds and a few WvW guilds. We had a few small PvP type guilds but they all left to join the Dragonbrand-wagon.

SBI does have a great community though.

There is no such server I think. But you can look for a guild. Also anything below T2 will be better for small scale fights. T2 is also decent in off-hours but definitely not NA prime.

If you’re interested in small map wvw (small groups, roaming, havoc etc), then just about every single bronze server would fit. Top 3 recommendation would be FC, AR and Kaineng. FC always run a bunch of small to medium guilds that can accomplish more than their numbers really should allow them to. AR have traditionally been a "for the fights server" though they’re starting to run a bit more zerg heavy these days. And Kaineng is that weird server that can’t outnumber anyone in NA prime time, so we’re very good at roaming.

I’m not so familiar with the PvP aspect of servers, but I’d guess those 3 also are fairly active in pvp.

Pretty fair description of AR. The 4 weeks of dealing with Mag’s current bandwagon forced us to start running zergs out of necessity to bust up enemy zergs, but now we usually just run them when we need to and then split back up into small groups. A lot of times our “zerg” is just a bunch of roam groups responding to a call for help, we love a good bag farm.

I think we are currently locked into the best tier for small group fighting, we’ll likely go up against SoR and GoM next week who have similar coverage. Should be pretty fun and competitive. We have a server website, TS and a pretty good community. I think you’d really enjoy AR.

If I were going to choose a server other than AR I would suggest GoM or Kain. Kain is a weird server to fight because they lack a strong NA prime time presence, from an opposing server pov they have decent small man roaming groups but a pretty bad zerg group. They are on the ball when it comes to upgrading and sieging towers and keeps though.
GoM just seem to love to fight. We’ve had fights where we wiped them multiple times and they just kept coming back. They have a few good roamers and small man groups but they seem to have less good ones overall than other servers around these tiers. But they respect duels and are quick to compliment you on a good fight when roaming. They seem to be a very friendly community.
