On which server do we stack on this time for maximum loot??
SFR again, or Deso maybe??

If you feel the need to move for better rewards, DB if the leagues persist. YB would also be decent choice because they historically have a BIG PvE turnout in WvW during seasons.

Plus without free transfers this time you’re spending more to transfer than the rewards are worth. Pretty dumb move to transfer.

We should make a vote, 1 NA server and 1 EU server to be the designated free transfer bandwagons. Maybe we could pick a name out of a hat? It just doesn’t entirely feel like a WvW season with the token bandwagon.

Desolation is already stacked, it may not seem this way but, bring in our PVE pop and then the Fairweathers into the equation who joined recently; don’t be surprised to see hours long queues.. I imagine some players will be looking to transfer just to get onto a WVW map.

Exactly. We haven’t had much any queues and we have been often out numbered during summer 2014, but once the Fall WvWvW tournament begins, we will have long queues as the achievement hunters will flood in. The other top servers will have similar problems.

The worst bit is weekly achievements, so every weekend will be solid hours long queues while people get their weekly done….

Stack!! Go Stack! The more we do stacking the sooner wvw breaks and we all play EotM Or something else.

If your in NA, the servers are already stacked and becoming even more. As the t1 and t2 servers are currently buying/bought guilds.

Last season we established that there are no guarantee wins in WvW…find a server you like and be loyal. The rewards are crap anyway.

They need to put a cap on the wvw population on each tier otherwise there’s going to be massive imbalance like the last tourney. Did Anet even learn anything from the last season?

If ANet didnt want us to stack, they wouldn’t tie rewards in to an such an unbalanced game mode.

Another way to look at this…. if few people transfer servers, ANET will increase the rewards for season 4. In case you didn’t know, the whole point of seasons is to drive gem sales from transfers.

I highly recommend against stacking on BG. If that happens, it’s likely TC and JQ will just team up again to smack them down.

Precisely this. It’s why there’s no penalty on transferring now. The more people move, the more they profit.

It’s really starting to drive me insane. They at release claimed to be a studio focusing on the player perspective but at the moment all I see is them trying to make a buck at the expense of good gameplay.

You have to realize that A-net is more worried about pve and pvp then WvW, and this has been an issue that has been lingering for the past few years. They have not addressed server stacking, even if they tried, it would be too late since fare too many people have already left and are currently leaving cause of lack of WvW effort.

I would actually vote for HoD. Even though there are like only 2 guilds left and the rest ragtag experienced WvWers who know where to place siege and man/use them. They are plenty helpful when I was there recently. I moved to CD with some friends and it is alright. Good turn out in the weekends with a huge dip the rest of the week until Thursday.

Kaineng and Eredon Terrace would also be a good one to bandwagon to since they have like such a small WvW presence and could use the morale.

12/12 format for the upcoming tournament so stacking on DR is gonna give you a bad time.

Would really prefer that my server doesn’t get bandwagoned but it would be really appreciated for something external be done for us… for once.

And that also means don’t open free transfers to servers ranked wayyyy higher than us for some reason.

Lol, I can assure you that during season it won’t be the same. You have no idea how large our PvE base is…..They love to show up during the seasons. I am sure other T3 servers also have a big PvE base, but I feel ours is bigger. On top of that, DK rallies TONS of players during the season constantly.

That being said, I don’t want my server to be known as a bandwagon server EVER! So, if you are here for seasons only, PLEASE do not come, Ty!

If yes, just another design-failure of ANet: giving competitive prices to people that did not participated in the competition

No one goes into WvW during these 4 weeks, but all finish their achievements in EotM.
Should result in a draw if never anything happens in WvW, not sute what happens if a match results in a draw (probably a crash ), but could be all are taken as winner.

Stacking makes sense… very few players want to get run down week after week by a stacked server. Four weeks of wall to wall zergs suck… ask FA how much they enjoyed HoD S2 the first few weeks.

Here’s a thought kittens…how about not stacking…so ya know…we can get some solid matchups every week. Also why the hell would you stack for the “rewards”. “Sweet bro you bought 1800 gems to transfer so you could get 4 extra greens and a few other random items that will probably sit in you bank till you quit the game”.

Uh, whut? Stacking because someone else might be stacking? And they probably stacked because they thought someone else would be stacked.

If no one stacked then no one else would need to stack to counter the stacked server.

Some servers are going to get stacked… that is just going to happen. No amount of QQ on the forums is going to stop it. So my suggestion is to simply brace for the reality of it. Either stay put and ride it out or transfer to a stacked server to enjoy better rewards and easy game play.

As someone who has seen both sides of that game play I can say being the “top” in a matchup is vastly superior to being the “bottom” with all the PvE zerging that goes on during a season. Neither position is particularly enjoyable to me but I would rather log in to a sea of friendlies than a sea of red.

Course with season 3, I am going to stay put and take my kitten pounding like I did in Season 1.

You know, both SBI and HoD ended up in the same place or better when the bandwagons were finished.

Here’s some honesty:
There will be no T5 wunderkind this time. DR has no off-hours and just limped past IoJ

T3 is well balanced and doesn’t want what you are selling; and Maguuma is fading.

The top 5 are the stable servers that will still be the top 5 in 3 months. No matter what happens to them, none of them are likely to disappear anytime soon.

You go to any other than those 5 in the top 12, then you are rolling the dice but God bless you all the same.
