Who cares about zerging fix siege spam
Well, there is already a limit as per how muc siege can be placed in a radius of each other, plus a limit on the map…
Sieges can be annoying, but taking them off is usually not too hard, if the attacker’s force is organised…
Otherwise, I admit, it’s treb war… not as fun a fights, but in many treb places, the ennemy has to go out to destry them – good way to get them out of their structure…
We built 58 golems the other day. It was great fun. But then we hit the cap… I think they should raise the siege cap. We had prints for a 100.

Dont need 10 ACs. 2 people can defend a tower with a treb and a cat way easier then ACs

Simple (not necessarily to implement) fix to anti-personnel siege (AC’s and to a much lesser extend Ballista’s):
1. Establish a “siege zone” for every tower/keep/garrison/stonemist that encompasses the structure and extends approximately 1000 range from the walls.
1a. Within a siege zone you can have a maximum of 3 same siege within 2500 range of each other.
1b. Outside siege zones you can have a maximum of 1 same siege within 3000 range.
2. Siege zone rules do not apply to catapults, flame rams, golems, or trebuchets.
3. Allow players to repair cannons and mortars prior to being destroyed (give option to Use or Repair).

Yes siege is the only way to counter the blob however ineffectual it may be. Doesnt it kitten you off when a server uses siege when they have even to greater numbers? This has happened to me plenty of times, and causes a lot of my guildies to log out. What is the point in trying to cap anything (only reason for us to cap is to draw out their forces) when we will melt to AC spam? I cant imagine the people camping in a tower to be having any fun when they arent facing any enemies 90% of the time.

Yes. Just happened to us. Trying to defend the eb keep against 50-100 enemy multiple golems. We had ac’s, canons, mortars, trebs and perhaps 25 players inside. Siege had little impact outside of taking out a couple of their golems.
Sides do camp in towers & keeps and quite happily sit inside all day & night until the home server tries to regain any lost territory. Before you know it the friendly blob arrives to wipe you out.
After losing the eb keep enemy server proceeded to lay down a whole lot of siege inside. They will sit in the keep until no one can be bothered trying to retake it.

To cap things off they camp in the spawn with or without siege.
Regardless of which side of the gate you’re on, its really lame to be beaten by siege. Its the worst passive play in the game, and it is most certainly abused to the point of players losing interest.
