Why can I not put in a stack of 250 wood, 250 ore, 100 reg, 50 books, and get 50 superior???

We use over 300 superior rams a week, and countless other seige… With all the vast technoloigy at your finger tips, and you can’t make this simple change for WvW’s?

We’ve been asking for this for so long, but it’s WvW so not important, expect this to be added in the update of 2022

If PvEers (mystic forgers gambling for a legendary) haven’t gotten this after repeatedly asking, what chance is there for WvW players?

Just make me a seige forge that i can purchase. Fixed.

What if you have a stack of each and just want to make 7 rams? How would you make that work? Only thing that comes to my mind would be a “craft all” button. So you either craft one or all of the things you want (it would work for anything).

Agree with OP…… is it very time consuming and hard as crud on my mouse to have to click all 4 items hundreds of times…… Heck…. i dont even mind spending the time…. i just dont want to have to click over 500+ times……….

Not sure what the anet official stance is for using a macro to forge, but it sure does make it less tedious.

This exact problem with the Mystic Forge has been discussed to death in the PvE and other subforums for the past year and a half. There are at least a dozen Threads with “Carpal Tunnel” and “Mystic Forge” somewhere in the same title, starting around August 2012.

Yes, it could work just like that, however, in crafting, the “1” can be changed to anything from 1 to whatever is shown under “craft all”. This is the one major pain I have for making siege.

Would be good if when you press Craft (or what ever it say) you get a question how many if you have more then 1 book.

Not a WvW problem specifically. MF interface is just bad and needs an overhaul in general.

Yeah, the Mystic Forge wasn’t designed around the ides of mass production. It needs a redesign.

Maybe some day we can craft superior siege blueprints via crafting stations (lvl 0 items which yield zero crafting experience ofc) instead of using the mystic toilet…

Use the magic ‘alt’ button to split stacks into how much you want.

To make 50 superior rams, one has to double click 4 times per ram + 1 click for craft + 1 click for accept.
That’s 18 clicks per ram or 900 clicks…
If we could just set a ‘craft-all’ button, this would be reduced to 16 initial clicks + 1 click for craft all + 1 click for accept.

900 clicks reduced to 18. WHY ARE WE NOT FUNDING THIS!?

+50 clicks for buying 50 books. Seriously, where’s the “I want to buy 50 of this thing” option? Pretty basic functionality, if you ask me.

Just buy them all in TP if you dont wanna click xxxx times. My guess is that anet want it to be time consuming to make all those superior siege.

Or make it like regular crafting where you can select how many you want to make.

At the very least, keep the materials in the forge instead of throwing them back into inventory after you craft one. That would save a few clicks.

Honestly though……. the structure for mass building already exists in the crafting classes in the core……… just migrate some of that module code over to the forge code and integrate for support as necessary…….

I would bump this 10000 times, even if anet bans me, to just get this across to anet, and implement SOON, not in a year or so.

My idea is allowing the mysticforge to make, in 1 go, whatever stacks of materials you have placed into it. If people don’t want to make that much, they can separate the stack.
