The devs closed the EU linking thread making discussion in it impossible, yet the NA linking thread is open for discussion. Why is this?

Because they don’t want to hear about it most likely and want no negative, logical, or questionable responses from the players on their decisions. You know those people at work…..“I’m right, you are wrong” and they don’t listen to reason and typically are not open to other individuals ideas

You are right, this is a clear double standard, it also suggest that EU customers are not important or valued. You should rally more people to protest this unfair treatment.

I don’t know why you are bothered when they problably aren’t even reading the NA thread anyway… You would just see a lot of playing going “yadda, yadda” about links but the people you want to listen would be silent, as they always are.

I guess I’m the only one who’s happy with it. The less attention they pay to EU the better chance we can quietly revert back to the way it was pre-linking.

Then the NA kids can have all the shiny new “fixes” and EU can carry on as before.

I dont want that we go back to before server linking, I want Anet to go a step further and merge servers instead of linking.

I think if you did a poll of EU only players you’d find the majority would be happy if we just reverted to the way things were. EU was already competitive before the links. Even the lower tiers had blobs during prime.

Well , the short answer is: they don’t care

The long is: they do care, but don’t really know what to do so they do little things nobody asks for (canons) while they stay true to their principal of not communicating with us at all.

The german forums are a mess, no mods or devs are posting in the WvW Threads and the only time you notice that the mess is being moderated is when you post a “F Word” which gets you one Stike. Oh and it if you use the nice little “You don’t agree, write us” function they don’t answer there aswell. So basiclly everything you write in the german forum is a waste of time, cause they just don’t care.

Linking Abaddon and Dzago is not a good idea and they are now steamrolling to place 1 because of the huge WvW population they always had? Guess what: basiclly every player with common sense told them to not relink them again and what did they do? They did it again. I just wait for the next excuse “well we have 2 large French servers so we needed….”.

You can discuss till no end but it wont influence their decisions anyway.

oh yeah, next flame by yours, GG THEA. Abaddon+dzago dont have more player than RS or Kodash, but we just playing wvw and dont flame the whole day like you xD.

An we only stay at 1st place atm because FSP dont care about points and just search fights. if they would want to hold 1st place they could easily do against us.

It was clearly a mistake and unintended, but as usual just adds to the Anet consistently inconsistent theme they’ve been running for 4 years.

Probably because every time there’s a relink thread, EU comes in to the NA thread crying thinking it’ll give them a better chance of getting noticed. Why have two threads for the same crap?

Yes they will not link French servers with German servers.

I would like to believe most intelligent people know EU cannot use linking in a fair way at all unless something is done about the populations of the servers and the migration of people.

ANet hopefully knows this and havent opened the thread for discussion because it’s an irrelevant discussion, we all know it won’t be a balanced linking.
