Why can’t we unlock new finishers the higher our WXP rank gets just like PvP players can with the higher rank they achieve? For example,

WXP rank 0 you get rabbit.
WXP rank 30 you get deer.
WXP rank 60 you get dolyak.
WXP rank 120 you get wolf.
…
WXP rank 3840 you get dragon.

because those finishers are sPvP exclusive. Also those suggested numbers would be way off. Lvl 30 in sPvP most likely takes longer than world rank 120.

It’s a good base idea, but with a new set of finishers though of course.

Kind of like the zaishen rank emotes in GW1, that had cumulative effects each level tier. A copper spear would crash into the ground from above, rank 2 it was a silver spear, rank 3 it was gold. Rank 4 was a gold spear + copper hammer and so on.

You could have the finishers based on the WvW rank names, Bronze (title), Silver (title) etc.

I’m actually tempted to go spvp to get to wolf. Not sure if I’ll stick with it since my spvp buddy quit the game.

I’m all for MORE finishers! I’m enjoying my mad king one so far.

Actually not a bad idea considering PvP leveling such such a massive grind.

Makes sense to reward new finishers to WvW, like sPvP. Although, I agree with others that those numbers are off. And it should probably be something unique anyway. They are trying to encourage more stomping, with the Bloodlust, so it should be a chance to show off your rank in WvW, since fellow players can’t see your rank currently.

+1 this idea. Its a simple reward and requires no balancing.

If they can’t further screw up balance with it, it’s unlikely that it will get added.

You know, priorities.

Cause they want you to buy them on the gem store just like every other cool thing that should be an in game reward.

Like others said, no, those are sPvP finishers, and rank there is account wise, as it should be in WvW too.

But yay for new finishers.

“MUCH higher ranks” means that only players who zerg and don’t play alts would get them.

Could tie it to the achievement system (once it’s fixed). That way even small group activity or even defensive activity would put you on the track.

I’d like finishers, indeed. The sPvP ones are nice enough that I don’t mind using them and they’re super easy to unlock.
