Regarding the upcoming WvW season’s update: Why do you force WvW players to do JPs?

Leave this in PvE and don’t bring grief to WvW players. The reason I left PvE was because of JPs in living stories and what not. At least let me enjoy WvW by focusing on WvW stuff….

If someone enjoys JPs then there is already plenty of JPs in the game that they can go and do…There is absolutely no enjoyment from JPs other than dealing with messed up camera view and falling to your death.

I rather be killed by a rabbit on WvW ground than falling from a cliff while doing a useless JP. If I want to do JP then I go and by a 2D game focused on jumping puzzles like Runner for example.

So don’t fall off?

I gotta agree with this. When I saw the JP achievements lumped into the WvW Seasons panel, I was a little confused. Nobody I know in my guild, or in any of the many guilds I associate with in WvW, actually does the BL or EB jumping puzzles. I mean, even if they were fun, it would still be time away from what is actually important: Collecting loot bags or becoming one.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but…

I don’t think you will need to do any of the JP’s to get the meta achievement…

It’s just there for the players who like the jumping…

You don’t have to do it to get the meta achievement.

I don’t feel forced to blob up and storm Stonemist ‘cause I don’t have to do it.

I’m not sure I understand the complaints. You have to do each JP 1 time in 7 weeks…For the most part the BL JPs take 10 minutes maybe and OS can be a pain but you have 7 weeks to do it. Also you don’t even need to do them to get the meta done…You are not being forced to do them.

If you are achievement focused WvW is not the place for you…

i have no problem if the jumping puzzles were removed from the wvw season achievements
i just cant stand people who say they are forced while they ARENTN’T IN ANY WAY!

and this is another thing about pvp vs pve – I would have more fun turning orange into a moa in wvw than trying to do pve events or jumping puzzles with him, via guesting his server.

Please don’t force us to get along with his idea of fun. Can’t stand jumping puzzles myself.

Some of you complain too much. You need 15 achievements for the award. There are 18 achievements possible. That means you need to do 1 JP. Just wait for a day when a Mesmer is porting in the EB jp and you’ll be all done.

but this has nothing to do with the topic and that someone complaints about the jps while there is no reason for it like really NO SINGLE REASON!

this is no griefing…

everyone who goes to the jumping puzzles actually gets like 10000x less loot then in real wvw fights
so this would be the opposite of griefing…
voluntarily giving up on loot…^^

i’ve been thinking about this, you may have a point – i take it back ….I can’t wait to lay heavy siege to stop the pve’rs that imposed their pve jumping puzzles in a wvw list.

I see the light. – many whining moa’s will walk the earth during the leagues!

Not everyone in WvW is there for the loot…loot is just bonus for winning a epic fight, which is why most people are there in the first place.

Also considering all the EBG JP griefing posts in the past, PvE players will find it as griefing because you are denying them what they want. Its cruel world ran on the tears of carebears.

I have never done the WvW JP, and probably never will. There are plenty of ways for me to complete my WvW seasonal though, so it’s no big deal to me.

You should really try out OS at least once, its a really cool JP. And if you are a half competent PvPer, you’ll do fine in there.

carebear tears should be it’s own wvw currency! Then jumping puzzles would be fun for pvp’rs too!! win/win
