Guild Wars 2

Just wondering how many people play for the various reasons listed below.

1. Friends/Community you’ve met over the last 2 years
2. Fun
3. No other RvR games match Gw2 currently.

I personally am 1&3. WvW stopped being fun when ANet announced Season 1.

2&3. Mainly 3.

If I didn’t enjoy it at least a little… I wouldn’t play.

I don’t. WvW lost interest for me a long time ago when it became clear it was going to be nothing more then yet another zergfest. And I don’t think I ever found it fun. The idea is fun, their implementation is rubbish.

And since they spend no time developing it any further, it has no hope of ever being anything more then boilerplate. If they ever decide to put their bloody back into it, then I am willing to take another look. Until then, zero interest in playing the game.

You know how in cartoons you have teh character end up in the middle of the road in the night, and then it light slowly shines brighter, only for the toon to turn and see a car heading straight towards them before it runs over them.

Well I’m parked up in a car with some popcorn watching it all happen.

ditto, though lately i’ve been putting as much time in pvp as WvW.

I’m leaning more to 1.

2 only happens when talking to them.
