Q:
Why does super get full health regen?
If you are in a place where the supervisor can’t damage you, then the supervisor won’t take any damage from you. I’m guessing you were standing on some roof pew pewing him where he obviously can’t do anything since he’s melee. It ensures that you don’t take advantage of the AI.
I have never seen the super disengage when facetanking him, but of course it can happen when trying to kite him. Combat range from a camp is sometimes really random. Guards has a tendancy to behave the same way.
I was not trying an exploit. The super and I were going toe-to-toe and both doing/receiving damage.

Maybe he just got bored with you?
Just don’t fight him outside the circle.
It’s a pretty good indicator for his aggro range. If you drop aggro, because you are too far off, he will run away.
He might still stand there and fight you, even, when his aggro radius(how far it is exactly I have no idea) is exceeded, but he will most probably lose aggro after a couple seconds of battle.
Just fight him right inside the camp and don’t run away too far and you should be fine.
The mob has spoken and the turrets shall be burnt at the stake.
Leashing in this game is pretty weird.
Sometimes this just happens with NPC’s. The other day I was doing some lvl 48 FotM, and the Lava Shaman suddenly decided to reset his health pool, it was a pain.
