So very often commanders in my server get suppressed because not everyone has teamspeak. They should really change that…

They won’t because of griefing. Its to easy to get a tag then you can not only have a distracting tag on the field but they can endlessly spam chat. That said there shouldn’t be any suppressing in squad chat, not sure if there is or isn’t but there shouldn’t be.

However, regularly spies have reported commanders on the map to get them suppressed far before they should have been….

They really shud remove if if commanding in a WvW map, or at least cut some slack either in general or for those commanding. It’s ridiculous atm and makes and breaks fights. Squad chat is useless, /say all the way.

reports aren’t automated and I doubt they would be acted upon live.

I have lost a few fights/camps/towers because of this in wvw, I dont know anything about pve commanding. Also almost noone joins squads so you have to talk in Say or team(map) chat and when its a serious situation you have to write a lot and you get supressed which is really bad(even gamebreaking(for wvw) depending on situation)

Anet devs are too ignorant to fix this, sorry. They totally know what’s best for us </irony>.
