Q:
Why isn't there a cross-borderland map chat?
Nope, it doesn’t exist. The best suggestion I could offer is to see if your server has a community WvW guild where you could call for help, or even see if any of the WvW guilds would be willing to expand to take on such a role for scouting purposes.
Maybe they should have implemented a /t team chat feature in the chat box, so you could just type those reports in chat. Oh, wait…
Its a valid question. People are not always able to use ts for a variety of reasons because of rl issues, kids, spouses, etc. Implementing such a feature would certainly make cross server communication that currently is only possible through guild/private messages and programs such as ts, much more accessible and easier.
There are certain things you can do to help the situation aside from the obvious, using communication programs like TS ofc. Watching wp’s of other maps for when they go contested, asking for and keeping in contact with scouts on maps, keeping in contact with guilds/players on other maps etc. There are multiple ways to help.
Honesty is not insulting, stupidity is.
>Class Balance is a Joke<
It would promote even more cross map zerging.

/t doesn’t work across borderlands, so what’s your point?
Another suggestion, add the commanders to your friends list and whisper them.

/t is really for pvp… but yeah I think they should just make it cross-borderlands too
You can’t join any Team in wvw, it’s just onother map chat with a darker red. it’s useless unless you make it cross-borderlands. 2 hit in one shot: a better chat comunication and a uselees tool revived.

“it’s useless unless you make it cross-borderlands.”
The design was there, but the implementation was not.
