Arrowcarts firing Inside towers/keeps destroying all defensive siege weapons inside. yeah..clap clap

This exploit/hack has been here since months. Will be legit players see fixed someday? Or must we fall to use this kittenty stuff?. I refuse.

Please fix this once at all!

This is not zoomhack. Most gates have a gap above them, so if you place AC outside, you can see stuff directly behind gate.

As stated by Pejot this is not a zoom hack, they are simply just tilting their camera in an angle so they can hit those locations, and as previously stated if the AC is placed at the correct spot you can shoot the siege inside by having your mouse cursor in the gap between the arch of the gate hole and the gate itself. (This is something that is used by most guild groups, that is why the ac’s appear to be placed at mostly the same place)

You can even if you want change the resolution of your screen to achieve a different angle for your camera without, even if it can be condisered to be in the “gray zone”. The most common zoom hack was to my knowledge when SAB (super adventure box) was here the first time and your camera would be at a further distance then what it usually is, but this was fixed by ANet.

Exactly what pejot said. A good way to avoid this is to place siege at the sides of the gate, instead of right in front of it.

AC is OP as not having LoS.

hehe..developers just dont know how to fix it (coz they know nothing about dynamics variable address ).

Why bother defending and laying seige to begin with. Game favors offense, defense will only frustrate the hell outta ya.

For the most part a simple manipulation of your screen in window mode will allow you to hit targets that you normally should not be able to. However I have seen cases where an arrow cart will hit where it normally should not even by manipulating your screen. After such cases I will mark the point where an enemy ac was and go back later to try and replicate where the hits were being made. On a 27" monitor, windowed mode, and re-sizing my screen there have been instances where I could not replicate where the ac was hitting.

So to assume it is all screen manipulation and not a zoom hack is being a bit naive.

Maybe in 3 years time they will. Of course we will have Ascended Golems flying in the sky and bombing all the siege.

How is it an exploit if they’re just rotating their camera to look through a gap? AC’s don’t require LoS, just like several class skills. It’s not an exploit to use the AC as an AC.
