Guild Wars 2

For some reason after the Guild Hall CDI we got a break. Then we got a new subforum for CDIs, and then the CDI communication stopped completly just when the CDI list said GvG would be next.
So I am asking, is there something planned for before HoT release or has the idea been scrapped completly in favor of the expansion?

Yes you do get it for next expansion. There still doing this expansion so they don’t have time.

It depends on what you think GVG is. In Gw1 it was 8 vs 8… that isn’t even a skirmish in other games. In other games GVG is hundreds of people.

Probably not. Up in smoke just like the class CDIs. You’d think now would be the perfect time too as GvG isn’t some complex system that requires years of effort to implement and you’d kind of expect the developers would want to know the general state their classes are in from the player’s perspective.

But /shrug. They’ll just wing it I guess.

Guilds that have like 1k players are kind of op in GvG.

I will love the implemented GvG made by Anet. Nohting to do with that what happened the last 2 years, but we will get GvG.

I am pretty sure that a dev stated officially that there is nothing currently in development for GvG beyond the current ability to do 10v10 in a custom PvP arena. So, I think a reasonable conclusion is that it is at least a year or more before one might expect anything on the GvG front…
