jk we are trebbing tower where SBI zerg was sitting, their NSP buddies came trying to kill the treb…. i saw quite few fun things like this last week

a treb out in the open is an appealing target, doesn’t matter which enemy server is behind the walls it’s firing on.

Three weeks ago, we fought the “new” SBI and have had to fight CD two weeks in a row now. Plus, before the SBI match even ended one of our larger guilds transferred to SBI make it even more lopsided. Not including all the other guilds that somehow were “abandoned” by DH by transferring away themselves, lol.

All that said, I actually am interested to see where SBI falls now. I am pretty sure they have more people than any one they have faced for quite some time, including this week.

SBI collapsed in tier 1 and fell and was handed many high tier beatings with less than half our current numbers. It’s nothing new to most of us, lol.

Can’t see how anyone can be happy about this terrible system. 2 of us will get screwed no doubt, but #13 will be facing boring matchups, and the rest of you guys in silver will be facerolled by whoever’s #13 no doubt. Meanwhile, #21-24 are going to have it even worse. And the thing is #13 and #14 will dominate so hard, then whenever that season ends, guess what’s going to happen…. It just prolongs the inevitable.

I guess it’d be funny though. Though not as big as a joke as whoever thought 2 divisions was good enough.

Not really on topic of the whole sbi going up to gold league, but is BP legit trying to throw matches to go to #13?

There is a difference between throwing the match, and just trying less.

Instead of fighting long hours to maintain a T3 keep or something, if you are tired, why not just log out instead. That is the kind of attitude going on, although it seems odd to me that they would rather roflstomp servers then have a decent fight.

But we all know BP likes to avoid fights. So not surprising they want to be in silver.

As one of the recent transfers to SBI I am not worried at all about moving up to Gold. Everyone is still figuring out how to mesh all the new guilds with the old to take care of coverage, but they are working around the clock on this. All the old guilds have been incredibly helpful and things are getting organized faster that I could have imagined.

I have no idea what our current ceiling is but I strongly believe SBI is going to be getting better and better going forward. We may not be in the running to win Gold but I do not think we will be getting stomped nearly as hard as some people think.

In the end I would much rather be on the rise and facing stronger competition then be stomping in Silver. I did not transfer so I could karma train against empty towers/keeps.

Back when the tiers were stagnant, BP and AR teamed up against EBay. Sure it took 11 weeks of BP being paired with a much stronger server at that time but it did happen.

Beat BP a couple weeks ago so safe bet… doesn’t hurt that SBI has gotten a lot of transfers and about half of BP has checked out of WvW. I don’t think I have seen two queued maps in BP for weeks.

I would probably take a pretty large bet that if you lock 12 in the league… you will see several transfers off your sever the week before the league starts.

Haha I can testify to that. We spent the first half of reset night in sPvP bashing each others heads in then went strolling around the borderlands, messing with Monkey and ended up capping stuff in hopes of stirring up some fights. There’s a general feeling of “meh” about it all.

I called it last week. I said the worst thing that could happen as far as YB staying in the top 12, would be a direct matchup with SBI.

Small and mid size group battle is where the fun is at

Ill be honest. SBI recieved a bunch of transfers but they only rely on #s to win. I’ve seen them outnumber us by alot yet they build 5 acs and stay in the range. Out in open field they always got wiped(look at reset night with BS and DR guilds). The only 2 servers sbi will beat 100% is Yak’s Bend and Ehmry Bay(idk how they r even rank 9). Rest they will be stomped horribly 24/7.
They already got beaten by Maguuma and Dragonbrand which arent even the best servers…So there is your proof. Can’t wait to see all your new transfers, transfer out and see the smack talk then. Don’t be so kitteny.

Looking at how SBI is crushing BP and Yaks in this matchup, I would say SBI is probably rank #8 in strength right now. If they can beat SoS they will be the new #7!

The #7 is probably the worst spot to be in because you always get stomped by T1/T2 and you rolf night cap # 8 to #12

They likely targetted it through the door (you know, like you were doing with the arrow carts on the ground instead of on the wall) and then ran around to the wall to dragon’s tooth it. Which means there was probably an ele standing alone outside the wall away from the zerg and you guys let it stand there spamming dragon’s tooth instead of getting off the arrow carts for a second to run up the wall and kill it.

I know people like to cry “hacks” as soon as they start losing, but dragon’s tooth has worked that way since beta. I find it hard to believe that that’s the first time anyone’s ever done that near you.

I like that iZerker got nerfed to stop exactly this last year, yet dragons tooth continues to avoid LoS restrictions every other skill abides by… Zero logic.

No one said it was logical, but it’s also not hacks.

I enjoyed fighting SBI in T1. They were good strong opponents. With their new arrivals SBI may or may not beat SoS, either way I am pretty sure it will be a good fight.

I doubt the league makes much difference, most of the top 10 have fought everything from rank 1 to rank 15 now anyway.

Good luck to those who are close to rank 12-13, I hope you make the right division for your servers.

SBI is only crush BP and Yaks because of their ability to field 40+ players in each map at all times. If u want to talk about strength then stop running back into SM to man the arrow carts when confronted by a group less then half your size. SBI will only go as high as 9th, they do not have the man power or skills to take on Magumma or SoS head on and they are the kittens of the upper NA echelons that can que all the BL at any given time.

I think SBI is now a lock for #9. Maguuma and SoS both have glaring weaknesses at the moment, but both servers excel at throwing numbers in off hours that no server <T2 can face either.

I just hope that SBI’s transfers are aware what they have signed up for. They can expect regular matchups not only with Maguuma and SoS; but from T2 servers as well. It’s also not unheard of for a T1 server to get mixed in with T3.

Even for the few on SBI who remember their T1 days, the numbers have only grown and the size of zergs + insane lag just makes it unpleasant.

Let them take their lumps, and let’s see if they can take the heat in GW2’s hottest crucible.
