I have seen some workers work and other workers just stand around when there are cannons to be built and oil to fix. There are plenty of supplies available for them to work and the proper upgrades are ordered. They just stand around.

In the garrison there are several areas with workers, do they just have a radius that they fix or what?

I went and looked at this again. You can see the workers standing around while they need to be working on mortars and various other upgrades, seen in the background. Do they not work in the lightning?

It’s snowing, and the workers are obviously cold and taking a break.

Maybe I am blind, but I don’t see any upgrades ordered there.

Workers do not repair things or build cannons etc for you if that’s what you’re thinking. Workers only complete structural upgrades.

yup.. them workers don’t repair… the players need to do it….

The only things workers do is complete upgrades.

When an upgrade such as oil, cannons, or mortars finish they will spawn built and functional, however once they are destroyed you will have to rebuild them yourself once the build sites respawn.

Upgrading the walls/doors will auto-repair the walls and door, however once the Fortify upgrade is finished you have to repair everything yourself.

I kind of wish you could order them to do repairs.

I’m employed part time as an aircraft mechanic, and they have strict regulation on working outside with lightning, (as all airports do, to my knowledge.)

If there’s lightning within 25 miles, you have to stop fuel operations and act with caution.
If there’s lightning within 5 miles, you cannot be outside at all.

So, maybe they can’t work when there’s lightning, I can’t…

You need to buy the ‘Whip’ with Karma points.
