Hello all,

If you’re someone who’s going for World Completion and have no interest in PvP, will you be left alone if you run the WvW zone naked with no weapons? Do you think it would be unnerving enough to be left alone if when attacked you /sleep and while laying on the ground you /s No it hurts! and Why are you doing this to me?

You take the risks of being in such a zone. I wouldn’t expect anyone to go easy on you just because you’re naked and stupid…

edit: although now that I see your guild tag I might get a laugh out of that instead and let you go. Would depend on my mood.

The only thing more satisfying than a large-scale WvW win is hiding behind a tree and jumping onto someone who is 90 % of the way through a “meditation” style skill point in WvW. If you’re naked, though, you die so fast it takes some of the enjoyment out. That counts as a win for the naked guy in my book.

Enemies can’t see your /s in WvW.Sorry that won’t work.Actually it will push your enemy’s deepdown feelings out and when they see you naked and lyind down they’ll want to rapekill you so hard!

Enemies in WvW don’t hear you in /say or see your custom emotes. Only simple ones like /bow or /salute work. Pleads will be left unheard.

I would’ve let you go in this case… but you are a thief. :-P
Thieves and commanders are always my primary targets.

Too bad about the chat. No one can hear you scream in WvW. But LOL good answers from everyone!!!

For me it depends on the match, If i’m on the server winning by over 150k points midweek I usually leave enemies alone if they are by themselves and I see that they are using a low level character

I would let you through. Although, some WvW POI’s/vistas/SP’s you can’t get unless your server holds the keep. So even if we let you though you wouldn’t be guaranteed map completion.

You could get an escort to take you around, someone who is experienced and knows how to handle multiple people at once.

People are going to attack you no matter what you are wearing.

It’s supposed to hurt and it’s being done to you because you are in a PVP zone.

Best bet…get some friends to do the WvW area with you.

I would probably let you through if I saw that you were only trying to get map completion.

As others have stated though it would be impossible to tell that though, and you under estimate the people who actually WvW naked for kicks at times. I see a few almost every night lol. Those people do carry weapons though.

Please remove all world completion points outside of those in WvW.

When your server is green, go out and get all the points close to the green start points (and anything else your server owns). Then wait until you are blue or red and get those points.

It may take a while, but you’ll get it eventually.

While you’re there, why not join in … you might actually like it.

My server has been green for at least 5 weeks and counting. I am pretty sure ANet put in an update that Blackgate is always green.

All true. You’d be surprised how many previously PvE only players really enjoy WvW when they get into it.

If I saw you running naked and weaponless, I’d just laugh and leave you alone. My girlfriend, however, would probably kill on sight (speaking of previously PvE only players enjoying WvW, maybe a little too much even, lol).

Unlike some of the others posting here, if I saw you running around naked I’d just leave you be. I don’t have to kill an unarmed man just to get another “kill”.

Color is based on ranking, if you’re always green, you’re always winning (1st place=green, 2nd=blue, 3rd=red). If you’re on a winning server it shouldn’t be too hard to get all points, but you’ll probably need to participate in (or even organize) some sieges.

Any group large and coordinated enough to clear some of the harder temples in Orr could probably handle most objectives in WvW as well, most of it isn’t harder than some of the PvE things you need for world completion.

I’d let you be. In fact, if I did attack, you’d probably beat me anyways, even unarmed and naked.

Well there you go, that’s a different perspective. No less valid than my own.

The main issue isn’t being left alone, it’s the POI’s and Viewpoints located inside enemy strucutres that can be a pain in the backside to get your mitts on. It can be especially tricky if you don’t move spawn colour week on week.

I managed to attain the locations simply by playing W3 a lot and it took about two weeks for some of the trickier locations (enemy keeps, etc) to become available.

Another option is to transfer to a server you know has a desireable team colour for that week.

I find it a bit perplexing that WvW is a hurdle for world completionists to overcome, and dungeons and heart-of-the-mists areas are not.
