That was easily the worst WvW video ive ever seen though. How anyone could stay in voice chat with that kind of yelling and panicing is beyond me.

He’s right somewhat, Camelot Unleashed will not be nearly as forgiving as this game…But more to the point, I hope no one here thinks you’re going to be looked upon kindly for running entire guilds in pvp in that game…Most likely since it be heavily DAOC in terms of gaming culture, You will be limited to running just your group otherwise you’ll be laughed at for zerging.

Running 25 people will not be looked on kindly…

its a loss to the wvw community to see RG leave, many of the top guilds weather it be EU or NA look up to RG as the best guild in the game
you guys have set the standard and hopefully someone strong comes in to take your place. i remember watching your first gvg with VOTF, thinking to my self how awesome would it be to play like that, and how intense GvG is, im happy to see NA starting to delve into GvG and more combat focused wvw but the real action is still in the EU

regardless of what happens though, RG will be remembered in GW2 as the best, and your commanding will be legendary :P

It’s not panicking. If you listen carefully he says pretty specific things. Most of the time. Keeps those fighting on their toes and always at high alert.

Is it just me, or is it a bit premature to quit for a game that’s still in development and doesn’t even have a release date yet? (If I’m wrong on that, please correct, but I can’t find one…)

A bit late here, just wanted to echo all congratulations and wishes of good luck in your future endeavors. I think all my guildmates will agree that clashing with you in the open field and especially GvG vs RG was one of if not THE highlight of our GW2 time.

Meh, if we all mega zerged 24/7 we’d all be close to the achievement as well. Many of us however defend towers, upgrade camps, escort yaks, flip camps, ninja towers, scout, etc etc.

Kills and fun are the thing to go for, because unfortunately the WvW mechanics are so meh. But I agree with you, if you roam as a solo or in a 5-man you won’t get kills nowhere as fast. However him being a guild leader, clearly he has better stuff to do than solo roam.

The most impressive part about this is the 1.5k deaths he has. Very very nice.

I’ve learned a lot from you guys and really turned our guild around with it. Thanks for all the entertaining videos and being a great example of what needs to be done in open field combat.

You have one thing major thing wrong. Probably because you have an NA bias. But since I’ve played on both sides, I can say this: NA servers play more for points. EU servers play more for the fights. Of course there are exceptions on both sides, but generally there are more EU guilds that enjoy combat a lot more than NA.

And for the record, the servers I have been on:
(NA): Yaks Bend, Sea of Sorrows, Blackgate, Sanctum of Rall
(EU): Desolation, Ruins of Surmia, Augury Rock
