I was thinking about something. I don’t get my world bonuses for W3. Now, I’m not the only one. What I wonder though is the impact it has on fights. Currently my server is doing pretty average. Admittedly low for our tier, we are bottom place.
We only have +6% health increase and +6% healing but as mentioned I don’t get it. As the match goes longer the % should increase because the team has made more points. There is no way to tell if my enemy is getting them or not on their side. I guess I wonder how widespread the problem is and if people try to fight early in the week instead of later in the week because they know that they aren’t getting all the perks they should be getting.
It reminds me a little of orbs being removed, they were stat buffs and these are stat buffs (and the best kind, percentages mmmm). They wouldn’t hit those higher numbers like 15% until about mid week but could be the difference in life and death. How many times I’ve ran away with less than 500 health is something I couldn’t even count. Had I taken one more hit it could have been over, with that bonus should I have been able to take 3 more hits, even 6% for my health pool is another 1k+ health that I don’t get. If I don’t get 1k and my enemy gets 1k then I have to work harder to kill them while they work less to kill me.
Has anyone pondered it or is it just me? Do you intentionally play earlier in the week because you aren’t getting bonuses or do you know you get bonuses and play anytime you like? Do they even cross your mind?
Dont even cross my mind. If they had the 2 week match ups and the bonuses could accumulate that much more it might get to a level where it’s a serious difference. Not sure do they count in the WvW area, or is it just a bonus when you are in the normal world? I assumed they apply everywhere, but maybe they are a kind of pve reward for when your server is doing well. I have no idea.
Got the same HP everywhere – WvW, PvE no matter if its the start of the new round or the end.
So I guess those “rewards” are not working or only partly working.
