Hey – I’m relatively new to WvW, and I was wondering how the colour system works out. Does it swap every week for each world in the tier? Basically, I’m sitting on 80% of the last borderlands map, and my world never seems to own the keeps I need to complete it.

there’s a chance for you to get another color, based on how close your rating is to the ratings of your opponents. if your ratings are very close the color assignments are nearly random. but if the ratings are far apart your chances increase of getting green if you are higher, or red if you are lower.

But from this friday on, we will have the 2nd league with swiss-tournament. So color will be 100% determined by rank in the league.

1,4,7 => green, 2,5,8 => blue 3,6,9 => red.

And the rank in the league will be determined by the points you got from the match result: 1st 6 pts, 2nd 3 pts, 3rd 0 pts.

So basically it could be a very long time before my world is green again?

well if nothing happens to tc’s rank then you will probably get at least 1 green but not a red since your server is ranked second in a league of six.
