Guild Wars 2

I just had a question about FPS dropping drastically in wvw.

I run guild wars 2 on a Toshiba Satellite A6 quad core 3400 APU with a Radeon 6520g GPU and 4 gigs of ram. The laptop is not the best but it runs the game on a smooth 40-45 FPS on medium settings some times even going 50+.

Basically in the huge battles that occur in wvw my FPS drops to about 10.

I know I cant do anything about my GPU but if I add 4 more gigs of ram to my laptop will it decrease the lag?

Im on a amd quad core 8 g of ddr 3 and duel 7750’s and have 15 FPS on low in big wvw fights .Itstheir Server problems .

Some things that may help.

1. run the system using Windows 7 or 8 Preview, Vista is a hog
2. update your video drivers
3. more RAM 6-8GB, is the 6520 sharing that RAM with the system?
4. laptop cooler, last I knew heat can cause the laptop to downclock
5. in game settings, use low settings for shaders/shadows

Razor has a free utility in beta that may help with performance, but I have not used it.
