Greetings,

I was wondering if there were any plans on resetting the World vs. World server ranks once all the hacks, cheats, exploits, bugs, and systems allowing kitten tactics have been fixed? I realize this will be sometime in the future, but I think it would benefit those servers whose rankings have suffered from losses due to the kittengery committed against them by some of the more despicable elements in World vs. World and should pose no problems for those servers who have won using legitimate tactics and should continue to prevail after the ranks have been reset.

I realize from reading some of the forum posts that World vs. World is supposed to be an ongoing war, but I personally believe that cheaters should never prosper in a game and I think that resetting the server ranks once the elements allowing cheating have been removed would be a good way to address this issue.

I honestly don’t think hacking and cheating has had enough of a score impact to skew any scores far beyond what they would be without it. In turn making it largely irrelevant to the actual ratings, in my opinion.

So they moved up a tier. big woop. They didn’t win anything, they didn’t gain anything cool. They moved to a harder set of opponents. Nothing crazy.

After the hacks/cheats are fixed, any server winning because of them will quickly fall back to their actual level. So it doesn’t really matter.
