Just finished the “Capture 50 ruins” achievement and I was excited to see what was in the reward chest. Well, I was greeted with 2 blues and 1 green (1 rare and 1 green and 13 bloodstone dust, but you get my point) I’m close to finishing some of the other ones and I really hope that those chests aren’t all regular champion bags too You even got better rewards for killing a measly 10 enemy players man….

I am not surprised.

Imagine how “awesome” the reward for wvw league will be :"p

ah yes, the pve’rs finally understand why we have issues with ascended items!

I got a bag for something or other and it had a bag with 10s a tome of knowledge (+1 level) and some blues. Looks like worthless rewards all around.

Not sure if this was possible before either, but I got an ascended ring in a rank up chest

i thought the same when i got mine for killing players. devon has alot of explaining to do for this. he promises us rewards closer to pve and delivers this.

was always possible, just very rare

people found out that its more profitable to do a map run of champions, then do any events, dragons, worldbosses, wvw, pvp, fractals.. you name it..

Iow. All rewards dropped from any big boss/event is timeconsuming/mindless so might aswell run around a map and pve.

Wich imo, really says it all ^^.
who still cares about a 1/100000000 chance for a Pre.. when 1 day of farming gets you 1/5th of the way there..

so yeah.. maybe make claimtickets/exo drops more common in personal rewardchests..

For me i stopped Tequilla runs because after 20 runs or so all i got to show for it were greens and blues with 1 rare… and tbh.. im not going to wait 1-2 hours for it anymore..

farming champoins actully gives me more loot in 10 minutes then spending 2-3 hours doing dragons or wvw..

At 3c a pop on the TP – that’s 30 silver – for a WvW chest that’s a bit excessive.

maybe they can add half the amount of badges of honor that you get from pve acheive chests too

i got an exotic, a tome of knwoledge and a blue from my first chest. im sure the league reward will be better. it also depends on your overall server performance.

Maybe toss in a few spvp skins.

Well each meta attachment gives you a reward but that only the small bit you get during running wvw. There are build in rewards in wvw by them self and it seems at the end of the wvw season there is a big reward. I guess they could of just put it all in one big one at the end and not given you any thing up until then but then ppl would only complain that they want rewards now etc..

i think it will be a problem if the wvw rewards at the end of the season are the same as five minutes of frostgorge champfarm . the rewards for part of the acheive being the equivilant of a champ bag seem to indicate the continuation of the poor wvw rewards compared to pve. for all devon’s talk about increasing wvw rewards he never seems to come through with anything that comes close to pve rewards.

Yes, I’m sure WvW players would whine and complain about how they want rewards “right now!” and couldn’t stand to wait another 7 weeks for something that wasn’t more vendor/salvage trash. After all, the huge mountains of cash we get is the reason we participate in WvW, right?
