WvW Custom Arenas
Hmm, none interested? I’d really like to see large scale pvp that’s more controlled than wvw, but maybe people are concerned that it would take players away from wvw?
This would be awesome but they will never implement it. The reason is because it would kill off the already dead/ barely hanging on spvp community. Everyone who loves pvp would no longer do spvp and only this new mode. Basicially this would be too much fun and anets 10k they spent on PAX tournament for spvp would go to waste (even though it already has). I personally think this would end up with a lot of empty servers like the current custom arenas. A better idea would be to make a separate map for us to queue up for (you can even just let us queue for the EB jp outside of wvw) so we can have some form of real pvp. But again spvp dying off is the reason we can’t have nice things.
B/c they wanted to make it some big time stage esport, and they failed hard cuz capture the circle can be done by anyone.
It literally takes zero skill to go online, find the fotm bunker build, and go “literally cannot be killed” in a circle.
How stupid. How about bad kitten 5v5-8v8 deathmatches that arent over after the first loss. Apparently everyone NOT working for Anet i.e. the customers can actually come up with better ideas than their design team lol.
So Spvp but a bit bigger? GvG is going to be tired into Spvp so we can have real ranks of what guild is doing better then other guilds. In a way most of the time GvG in WvW is a non point system that is about pushes to whom is the last one standing or the one who gives up. Its pure bragging rights if you put it into Spvp then you can keep track of this better and see whom realty is better then others.
That and in a way you can do GvG in custom Spvp rooms better then say in WvW because there is no random zerg to simply kill every one who is GvGing.
Guild : OBEY (The Legacy) I call it Obay , TLC (WvW) , UNIV (other)
Server : FA
In spvp builds are differentt and we cant get the same stats as in wvw. That is the problem.
