How are they doing it? I run with 4 others all lvl 80. We are new to WvW.

His name didn’t happen to be Commander Siegerazer by any chance? He plays on our server too, he’s pretty OP.

Yeah there are strange and mysterious things that happen in WvW just like in other areas of the game… cheats will always … cheat.
Everyone knows these players exist all over the game, ANET knows this, but if they don’t wanna do anything about it then expect the issues to get worse so you either have to ignore it and carrying playing, report them and carry or….leave the game I guess.
As for this OP Commander Siegerazer…… eerrr hmmm – - I am quite fond of him on Underworld… seems to be the only way we are able to try and force a minor victory these days.

How are they doing it? First off a question to you, what tier are you in because a Tier 6 zerg is quite different than a Tier 1 zerg. Having said that, based on the past vibes of the WvW section of these forums, if groups of maxed 80’s were getting mowed down by a single player controlled character like you describe here, there would be endless threads on it.
siegerazer is a npc that you dont want to get into melee combat with as he kills almost anyone without a complet bunker build in 1-2 hits and bunkers get 2-4 hits before they go.
you need to take him out with siege(cannons, oil, ac’s and balistas) or ranged

we don’t have the best of gears but we can fight others fairly before and are wvw noobs but what happend was just op. This is not a troll post, we may be undergeared a little but this is ridiculous. Was hoping someone knew what they were doing.
There are cheats in the game…. ran into 2 guys who when put into downed state, we could not finish or damage them at all… happened over and over again with the same guys.
this happens when a good player, mayby been roaming all his life in some high quality tier, joins the lowest tier of wvwvw. It feels like berserker is PVT, you can tank so much and smack about double the numbers than before. You are like a god in there, a wolf thrown in middle of lambs.
Yeah, it’s really sad there’s been this known CD hacker playing for about 2 months now and I’ve reported him via ticket with char name AND account ID and the hours he plays during…2 weeks in a row and he’s still out there hacking away with no action from Anet… Kinda makes you wonder what thier Violation Team is doing…yeah?

Shelter + Renewed Focus + Shield of Absorption + Virtue of Courage spamming. As for the hammer 1 hitting you, lol.

Sort of resent this post so I will reply, first of all quality of tier? That is opinion, personally I would call the number 1 spamming zombies of the higher tiers lower quality tbh.
Roaming is what half of our number in the lower tiers does, instead of theory crafting over large scale fights these people theory craft over smaller skirmishes. I reckon you either don’t really know anything about the lower tiers (likely) or have been picking on newbies to stroke your ego.
There are well known hacks like teleport hack, fov hack etc but nothing that can makes ur char stronger or invulnerable, it’s all server side they can’t change that.
I can see how a boon mesmer could end up with a great constant regen setup. Between using dolyak runes (30 hp every sec), regen (which they can keep on constantly and get quite a bit if they spec for it and have something like cleric gear) , plus they could add the rejuvenation booster (100 hp/sec). With all this they could end up with a great regen setup as well as other buffs like protection mitigating damage.

I’ve ran across that anti spike bug a few times. it happens when they are not on level ground (hills, steps ect) its been around for awhile, i don’t think its a hack. i think the servers are just buggy atm.

Haha, that’s funny, I bet it is the same guy I reported months ago, and I also included video along with what you provided. They’re too busy banning one of my guild’s commanders for “botting” instead.

Commander Siegerazer is so OP that he can use Hammer #5 with a Greatsword… (And yes, he do that)
I totally agree that skill does (and should) play a large part in someone being triumphant despite being outnumbered. With the said though I have seen an influx in people using hacks in T8 just this past week.
okay, it is definitely not siegerazor, It was a player that took over the bottom right map of isle of janther borerlands. AND defending it by HIMSELF. he was not using renewed focus, killed me with hammer number 3 with one hit.
he does have NPC behind him to help him out a little though*
I have seen group hugging to a spot and our zerg hit them and all you see is “invulnerabe” jumping like crazy. Usually near some camp. Since you cannot kill them, you leave. Then they just cap the camp over and over using the bug to avoid getting killed.
There are many character skills that can bug with terrians. Bugs/hacks exist in every game. It’s up to the player to exploit it (or not) if the dev doesn’t fix them soon. If this is a single player game, hacks are fine since no one else is hurt. For multiple player games, hacks are crimes because someone’s feeling got hurt and someone’s time got wasted.
If what the OP saw is for real, those must be hacks. Just take screenshot and report them and play something else. I know it’s difficult to take a screenshot at the exact moment someone uses hacks. :P
umm you guys do realize that there are people out there that can take on groups by themselves btw are you from Darkhaven? if so Seven Mirrors(Mesmer) on SF (KING guild) likes to take on groups and has constant regen and if theif you saw was from ioj FT guild that was prob me, if your new to WvW i suggest you practice on your pvping and your build may not be suited for WvW there are many vids and post on forums that can help you out

I am on GoM (Angelic Renae) and you will see me taking on multiple foes on a regular basis. I’m probably not as good as Seven who is really fun to watch on his videos, but I do have plenty of similar situations where I took out 4+ players by myself. I had fun with one defense when I was looking to hold the crossroads camp against 6 guys coming from the east. Just as I was to two guys, I turned around to find another 8 guys coming from the west with most of the camp NPC’s gone. Another 2-3 GoM (including a buddy of mine) had come to help but in the end it was I who was the last one trying to hold the camp which is just too many for me. I did get 2 more before I went down though.
