WvW Guards
I don’t think guards were ever intended to offer any real challenge. They’re there just to try slow down attacks against undefended points. It would be interesting to mix them up a little, but I don’t think a significant buff is the right answer for them.

no, i want guards to actually seem like an enemy player. right now they are there because no one wants to sit in that supply camp while everyone else runs and attacks.
WvW is turning into a large scale LoL with siege options. you have the weak NPCs and then you have enemy players.
it was supposed to feel like an actual war where you arent some almighty god fightign other gods while the NPCs cower.
give guards variety, and make them seem to be able to hold thier own, and then taking over a supply camp with 2 people will actually give you a sense of accomplishment for taking something challenging with so few people, instead of a boring chore of taking it over without havign to worry to much about failing.
The only NPC I don’t understand in all of WvW are the sentry post guards. I don’t see any purpose to them. I guess they can damage Dolyaks on the way by, assuming it’s from an opposing faction. But other than that, they just stand out there, all by themselves, guarding a flag. They should be able to do some sort of alerting when attacked. Maybe have other guards appear. Or have something happen at whatever camp/tower/keep is near by. I just don’t understand the point of them.
Beyond that, make the NPCs too tough, you’re either encouraging zergs or removing something for lower levels to do.
Sentry guards are important because if you watch the map closely, (as most commanders do or have someone tasked with doing) you can follow enemy movements pretty easily and intercept.
They are not really there to kill enemy.

I can solo a non upgraded supply camp with ease without any invaders there, so part of me thinks they should be harder to kill, but at the same time I’ve seen 4 invaders try to take Titan when it was fully upgraded and get totally destroyed by the Vets so they could be just fine!
I’d like to see more upgrade type’s in supply camps instead, maybe blockades/fences etc to slow invaders down a little more but not make it totally uncapable by small teams!
