WvW Hardware Specs
It is more than likely your graphics capabilities. I have an average desktop that was terrible in WvW. I upgraded my graphics card and it runs a lot better now. I still get laggy if I try to run on high quality but it performs good with mid range settings. Before I upgraded the GPU WvW was completely unplayable using the built in graphics on the motherboard.

WvW is really hard on your CPU, most people have more issue from CPU than GPU.
I was getting as low as 8 FPS when there were 15+ people around using an Intel i3, 8gb ram, Nvidia GTX 660. By swapping out only the cpu (and motherboard) to an i5, I now get over 30 FPS which is acceptable. To me, this game definitely needs an Intel i5 or equivalent.

Meh, GW2 is actually fairly easy on systems, on my PC I can run high graphics with no issues. But most of the time I’m feeling lazy and play on my laptop, I don’t play full settings on the lappy but really I’ve never cared if everything is bright and shiny in any game as long as its not minecraft block graphics.
I play solely in WvW and have little to no issue on the laptop, granted if theres 100+ ppl in the area I expierence some lag but realistically who doesn’t. My laptop has an i5 processor 8 gigs of ram and can’t remember off the top of my head what kind of video.
Thanks guys! I don’t have as much ram as Nuzt but I do have an i5. I think the video is intel instead of better graphics board. I tried a PC with a decent GPU and it seemed better. Must be the specs on my laptop. I’ll look at more RAM.
Lo @Nuzt. Your laptop has I5 and u say its easy on systems.
U dont need more than 4gb ram.
I agree with the above claims, get I5 like 3470 and u will be fine in WvW.
THe guy who was suggesting grahics update because he had improvement going from onboard to 660 is also lol.
