It’s simple really. Unstack and the lag goes away. It’s your fault for creating super stacked band wagon servers under the illusion ‘Tier 1’ actually meant anything. Here’s a hint: It didn’t in the old system and it doesn’t now.
Anet themselves said tiers no longer exist or are irrelevant, so your continued insistence for them to ‘fix’ a problem you the players on those servers created is downright asinine.
None of the other servers experience ‘hour long queues’ skill lag so bad they can’t even auto attack or ruberbanding because none of the other other servers have 100 man blobs facerolling into each other again and again adnaseum.
Hardware for their servers and peoples computers can only handle so much. It was never intended for super stacked servers like JQ BG and SOR to be at the point they are now. Again this is a problem you all created for yourselves.
You want new match ups? You want lagless fights? You want zero or minimal queues?… Unstack your servers. It’s really that simple.
No one else ever wants to fight JQ SoR or BG because no other server is that stacked. It wouldn’t be fun for either side. How anyone thinks 100 man blobs spamming auto attack is fun is beyond me.
Be happy I’m not an anet developer because my ‘fix’ would be to get heavy handed and force transfer people off your servers for more balanced game play across all the servers.

ANet puts up flyers saying they are throwing parties across 20 different locations. They list all of the locations. People clique together/otherwise coordinate where they are going, then 3 of those houses are packed so tight with people that no one has fun.
Then they go and complain to ANet that they need to fix the problem.

transfer to low tier server. problem solve. lag only happen in WvW stacked servers.

ANet puts up flyers saying they are throwing parties across 20 different locations. They list all of the locations. People clique together/otherwise coordinate where they are going, then 3 of those houses are packed so tight with people that no one has fun.
I see you are not too much into analogies.
Each WvW map has a per-map-per-server hard limit for a number of players that can be on the map (that’s invites). But game cannot handle that limit (that’s “place can only handle 20”). Your flyers advertise that each place will handle 100 but that’s not true.
Reduce population cap.
Overflow map.

Post a topic about why you are leaving SoR when you finally decide to leave because of the lag/queue. Make sure to mention that it’s no longer fun and you want a challenge. Also thank all the others still on SoR for the teamwork and leadership. While you’re at it you can thank BG and JQ, that you will miss them and hope to see them soon on the battlefield.
You’ve had your time in “T1”, now it’s time for another server to get there. I’m sure there’s several servers that would love to buy, ahem, recruit you to their server.
Your from SoR, what do you expect.. You’ve got 3 servers who can nearly que all maps 24/7 when the game isn’t built to handle those types of clashes. I’m on TC and we rarely have any skill lag when clashing with FA or DB. It is there occasionally, but literally it’s happened less than a half dozen times.
Part of the blame lies on Anet by allowing 100 per server per map, when realistically it should maybe be 50-60.
Your only real option is to just transfer off the server.

It’s because Anet know the answer as well as we do but they probably can’t force it to their players.

It’s a shame I only have 1 +1 to give.. Sad part is paid transfers from Day 1 would have still gotten to this point. Large guilds can still freely move around because they have the resources needed, small guilds can’t.

Btw that was off-the wall number just for the sake of the argument. I don’t know exact limit.
