WvW Laughs
Season 1, a couple of matches in. We were all waiting at the gates in Lion’s Arch at reset and some of us ended up sort of half-loaded in the orchard of whatever BL we were trying to get to.
So were some of our opponents.
So we had an odd laggy battle that never registered anything anyway, before the load completed and we were at spawn.
Funny because most of us were taking swigs of our drink or stuffing our faces while it was loading, and so were surprised to find ourselves in immediate combat.
This was a while back now, but I remember it very clearly because of how hilarious it was.
At the time, I was running a power based Ranger build and was roaming between Overlook and Anzalias standing atop the high mountain between the two in close proximity to the Vista. Scouting around relaying some information back to our commander, I noticed a red name approaching from my right hand side. Preparing myself to fight, I noticed it was a Thief and being a glassy Ranger I immediately became defensive. As he came towards me, I let off a quick “Hunter’s Shot” which I planned to follow up with a “Swoop” so I could make a run for it (I know, chicken, but I was a hell of a lot worse at 1v1’s than what I am now. This was quite a long time ago). He, however, had already initiated his Heartseeker and lost his target on me as I stealthed… Which wound up with him missing me by a hair and instead meant he was lunging straight off the cliff. I turned around and sure enough… Dead at the bottom of the mountain xD.

Having my 20 man group on an enemy bl, north side of north west tower running away from a TC 40+ man blob, we lead them towards a clift, we jump off and faceplant taking 90% dmg but insta regening because of out of combat, shortly after the tc blob decides to do the same thing and they all died to us cleaving at the landing point.
Imagine 40 ppl on downstate at the same spot wondering wtf happened
My funniest memory is borderline trolly mean. A havoc group took the north camp on an enemy borderland, then upgraded and sieged it up. The enemy couldn’t even get close without getting punted back into their citadel by our superior rams (that’s plural).
