The Laurel vendor in WvW is selling Ascended Accessories for 40 Laurels + 50 Globs of Ecto. Has that always been the case? I thought it was for Badges before with no Ecto needed. 50 Ecto is ridiculous.

Accessories were always that price. Only Amulets and Rings were sold for BoH + Laurels.

guild commendations are the better choice for acc.

Would be nice if the price would drop so that I can buy at least 2 sets of trinkets for every char. Let me see: 2 sets for power – full zerk and some tanky; 1 set for condi maybe enough.

Amount of laurels may be bigger issue than ectos.

Wvw Laurel vendor was never meant to replace pve sources of rings and amulets, just provide a way to get them without pve. Pver or not, you should do fractals for rings, guild missions for earrings and wvw for amulets.

Many t1 fractals can be done in 7-15min (some solo in that time). I can solo 25 & 26 in under 30min each if that gives you an idea of how easy some are.

Any respectable wvw guild will get you an earring once every 1-2 weeks doing wvw missions.
