Guild Wars 2

Guilds have competed for a long time, but they haven’t gotten the recognition they deserve. It would be nice, although nearly impossible to make it fair and simple in one chart. It would be nice to have anything though. The leaderboards have potential and I hope they develop someday.

and how are you gonna determine which is top guild lol

Guild wars 2 isnt about guilds its about zergs and siege didnt you know that?

The problem is how to measure, would be on wxp on every guild member? or how many places they take? or how many things they repair? or total kills? maybe an average per player to avoid ranking only huge guilds? but then with an average per player huge guilds would be left out because of many non active members.

Would also love to see some sort of guild ladder, but I don’t think WvW is the place for it because it could break how the game is played bassed on how the ladder would be calculated.

There needs to be leaderboards for “Most Kills With an Arrowcart” and “Most Time Spent on a Cannon.”

Stuff like that.

Even if it is difficult, they could list top guilds per tier and divy them by # of active guild members to see which guilds help capture x the most or defend the most just within their tier and within their pop bracket. It seems more naive to implement leaderboards for wvw without the ability to see any leading commanders or guilds or anything that we didn’t know half a year ago.
