As we’ve often experienced in this league system is that some matchups are decided way too early. If the point difference gets too big in first 2 days many servers give up fighting what spoils WvW experience for everyone involved. This is because no matter how big difference in points is the winning team will get 5 points, 2nd 3 and 3rd 1.

This can be easily solved; make points matter. I suggest awarding 1 point for every 20k points earned. Number can be determined on doing some calculations, it could be 1 point for every 20k or 25k or 50k or whatever, some estimates can be done based on stats from Season 1. That way even server which falls behind early has motivation to fight for points!

Any opinions about this? Do devs check this forum?

You mean, the ranking system we had, which was perfect. I mean that. It was perfect. It was based on the chest rating system, an evolved version of elo, and those numbers didn’t lie.

Yep, old one was good. But leagues provide some shorter term goals and more variety in matchups. So I guess if we take good points of each we can get an even better one.

Whoever can spawn camp the lower ranked servers the hardest would win the league.
