Then everyone will run full glass and zerg vs zerg will be determined by who jumps who first.

I doubt anyone is playing WvW for the loot, and if one zerg runs full berserker and the other the current setup guess who is going to end up with most lootbags?

To do so, you would have to break the “safety in number” mentality. Problem is that they want to promote group play so they won’t punish large groups. This means anything they do to help small groups will basically be even better in a large group.

Exactly, this loot change won’t have a direct effect on battle and doesn’t punish large groups. It does however promote small scale fights or roaming. Thought it would be more fair for people that have a really hard 1v2 or whatever to get rewarded more than just a guy spamming 1 hitting 10 guys and thus getting more rewards with a lot less effort.
