Guild Wars 2

I know Its just 3 servers put up against each other. But Is there a reason for this? Or is it just pvp for our fun. Because when Im in lions arch, I hear mist warriors talk about fighting evil and stuff, so is it possible are worlds see eachother as evil or is there any form of lore at all? Thoughts on the subject?

I just see it as an area where all three districts touch and is a land grab. Defending our borders against hostiles while attempting to expand our territory. The Lore is made by the players through the forums and some districts (Servers) are perceived as good, bad and ugly. Most servers have been called all three at one time or another.

I’m not familiar with any actual Lore relating to the names of the servers.

I personally blame the Quaggans. They lightning’ed someones keep and those people thought someone else did it and it just went down hill from there.

Besides that I don’t think there is much of an established canon lore about it.

From what I can gather from the GW2 wiki, WvW takes place in the Mists, i.e. a higher plane of existence that exists between worlds. Each server is considered a world, or universe, so when the alternate universes collide with each other they mesh together in the Mists and WvW happens. No idea why we have to fight each other, lore-wise.

it started when Quaggans and Hileks 2v1 the Kraits and the Kraits got mad…….

We should all come together in peace under one goal, hunting down every Trehearne that exists in the multiverse.
