To be perfectly honest, I don’t care about the other matches, but Server X, Y, Z threads make up about 80% of the threads on this forum. Would it be possible to create a new subforum for each matchup (such as HoD, ET, and JQ) viewable only by the players on those servers? It seems doable and would clear up the WvW forums immediately.

But matchups change everyweek…

kKagari, it would be a great idea to have tier subforums for each battle taking place. It would clear the clutter on the Wuv page and would provide a place for everyone to check in on other servers’ battles and their scores.

By tiers I mean:

1st, 2nd, 3rd place server’s battle: Forum
4th, 5th, 6th place server’s battle: Another forum.

And so on.

+1 (either way, tbh), not to avoid clutter, but I’d like to have a quick overview of the discussions specific to our current WvW match

So we could have the basic WvW forum for talking about WvW in general and then a subforum, perhaps with sticky threads for each 3-server match, and the subforum would get wiped each week. Alternatively, Anet could simply lock & archive that subforum and create a new one for the proceeding week.

Two goals get accomplished:
1. Reduce clutter in the main WvW forum.
2. Make it easier to find the current threads for your particular match.

That’s so crazy, it might just work!

It sounds like a lot of unnecessary work for the Forum Mods so I don’t think that would happen unless you can come up with a more efficient system. Sorry I’m in work mode so these are the things I think of right now lol.

How is it “a lot” of unnecessary work?

How to implement these subforums:

1. At the beginning of each match, wipe the subforum clean and create one sticky thread for each WvW server tier.
