Ok now I can’t stand it anymore. This issue is getting ignored in our class and bug sub forum.
Maybe here in WvW we will get an answer from Anet, because it’s a bit game breaking for every Necromancer in game, ESPECIALLY in WvW.
For those that don’t know about this bug, there is an awful unbalance when necromancer get downed. Simple explanation, we only have 1/3 the HP that every other class have.
If you play a necro, you might have experienced it, you just get DPS’d really fast when downed.

Some hinted it could be balanced this way because our number #1 in downed state is strong. But it doesn’t make any sense, as our downed state ability, other then number #1, are kinda weak and shouldn’t need this kind of balance. And when you consider we don’t have this issue in sPvP, it doesn’t make sense.
Please Anet team, check this out. It’s really anoying to instant die in downed state.

For my non-necro minions:
Necro’s death shroud has been coded or connected to our downed state for some unknown reason. It has been this way since beta and we continue to get new bugs due to this every patch. We used to not rally people along with warriors with Vengance. We used to die from fall damage in DS and now we dont. We now have 1/3hp in downed state. We can’t swap weapons in DS now and we could before (unintended bug that they made in to a balance fix). Whats next? Maybe the next fix will allow us to bandaid in death shroud and use dark path in downed state!
TLDR: Give us our bandaid fix which will break something else already!!! :P

Really, is it that hard for ANet to test this and either confirm it exists, and then state whether it is intended or not?
Just a simple acknowledgement that this problem exists or doesn’t and whether it is intended or not. What is so hard about that?
This is stupid. I can last usually long enough to get a rally with my other classes, but my necro barely has time to rally before he is dead even though I can tag more targets with my necro. Fix this please Anet, or at least say working as intended.

Why does it take an hour to get a response in the WvW forum but go ignored for weeks on the Necro forum.
Because there are people patrolling the WvW forum and not the Necro forum?
And what about the bug forum?
My theory is the bug forum has too many “working as intended” style bugs, and whoever is policing that forum just glazes over after a few hours. Unless you bug post sticks at the top and has lots of inflamitory language, it is going to get missed.

Being a Necro that prefers WvW, I’ve gotten used to the silent treatment, but it is nice to get confirmation that someone from Anet is actually reading the threads, even if it seems like it’s once a month.
I don’t expect ArenaNet to to give confirmation in every thread they read.
Hopefully it gets fixed.
Though, on the mesmer forums they gave confirmation that they were aware of the issue of map completion stars and clones back in like October. Hope this gets fixed (it’s a lil’ more serious) soon.

But it’s a major bug, and I think huge unbalance bug like this deserve an answer.
I never really realized we necros had an issue with downed state. I must admit it’s very hard for us to come out of it unless we rally.

I don’t think we had this bug since release. I played my necro for 2 month at release, then switched to engineer, then back to my necro.
Only when I came back to my necro like 1 month ago did I feel something wasn’t right.
It might have something to do with the patch they did this winter, when they changed the downed state HP for every class. Might have done a mistake for the necro.
I was wondering why my Necro seemed so bloody squishy in down state compared to my Ranger and Thief…
Every day Anet reminds me why I don’t look fondly at them.
Even more confirmation that the downed state sucks in WvW.

If only someone would take a glance at all of the WvW reports on the Mac client forum.
Or at least make a sticky informing players who go there that the Mac forums have been abandoned by Anet and to place your concern either in a ticket or on the forum where it is most likely classified (WvW, pvp, tech support, bugs). Sadly, those who need help go weeks or months without any answer at all because the post that states that Anet got what they needed from those forums and are no longer moderating them got buried months ago.

So glad someone finally responded and hopefully the devs are now aware.
This was one of the biggest reason I stopped playing my Power necro. In normal state with food and buffs I had around 3.2k armor and 27HP yet when I’m down I get dpsed down faster than a full berserker warrior.
I had thought this was intentional, that everyone’s stats doesn’t matter anymore, and necro has the very low downed HP compared to others. I was pretty kitten because of this.

Please also forward the entire team on the necromancer forums.
Not just one issue that has all necromancers on the verge of asking for a refund.
Has this been fixed or just ignored? How can bugs like these be ignored without hotfixes is redic… Please tell me they fixed this and left it out of the patch notes!!!
