Guild Wars 2

Let me preface this by saying that ArenaNet and its partners have done a great job with the launch of this game. It has been much better than probably any major launch I have been a part of for this type of game. That being said, I have no idea why ArenaNet does not have an official WvW News and Information Web Page.

Am I missing something? Is it that hard to make another page on this website that simply states the current WvW pairings / rankings, and a few pieces of news / information? All I am looking for is something like this:

“WvW is currently on a 24 hour reset period because we are _________. Once we finish _______, WvW will be on a 2 week reset period. We anticipate that will be done by ______. Winning WvW each reset will determine rankings and matchmakings for each reset ….etc. etc.”

Why are we left in the dark? How many guilds got together on Monday to run WvW thinking it was the 2 week start, and then Tuesday it reset, and all the guilds went back to farming / pve? I just don’t understand why there is no official place for this information to be shared, or if that is not the intention, why is the information being kept from us? When does 2 week WvW start?

“We’ll be publishing a blog post soon that updates the status of WvW, the rankings, timelines for splitting into longer matches, answers to FAQ’s, etc.
Hang tight, more info coming….when it’s ready!”
