WvW - Promote Fairness For All?
Uh, no thanks OP. I’m a Blackgate original and I’m not giving up my server. I’m primarily a wvw’er and I have some server pride. I hate the lag situation but I’d never leave to a lower tier because of it. Likewise the insane numbers of JQ never made me think I should move downtier.
In a way I kind of also like the fact that a match can really go on for months. It’s more competitive that way.
If your server doesn’t have a willingness to play, you will not have coverage. That’s no one’s fault but your own server’s.
We could use another map or two to spread out more, at least in tier 1, but the way I hear it we may be getting a new map sometime in the near future.

If you look down the server lists, you would never expect to see Eredon Terrace or Henge of Denravi ever moving up past the half way spot, or probably ever getting close. So what about those people on there? Who were die hard loyalists to their server, who are now completely ruined within GW2 because all they can pretty much do is PvE.
Who said the only thing you can do on HoD or ET is PvE? We have fun down here on WvW… But if your concept of fun is being at the top of the “coverage ladder”, then I can’t blame you for this poor statement.

I agree with the OP entirely. Tier 4 is miserable for the two bottom teams, who are admittedly pretty well matched.
The top server our on tier always has a huge lead though. The cause is debatable. Numbers, skills, coverage? All of the above? Regardless, they always way ahead, and it’s not a lot of fun to be the underdogs for months on end.
I’d really like this to be addressed somehow. Perhaps ladder seasons to mix things up a little?

As a Ferg i can confirm that T8 is fairly entertaining. And I’d definitely disagree with a glicko reset. We’ve only just got a fair fight down in T8. Last thing we need is to be matched with Sorrows Furnace or Kaineng again.
