The new WvW will be killing PvE noobs in the JP while they try to get their badges for new skins. There will be empty maps and full JP’s

There is far better ways to receive a tons of badges – killing PUG-zergs while you are in the organized raid ^^

I want to be able to get Ascended gear for badges. This has been made the new toptier, so this tier should be available to WvW. The current badge cost would fit this Ascended gear. For exotic gear, it needs to be slashed. Gear is to expensive, its many times more easy to get gear in PvE then it is in WvW.

And, for the love of all that is holy, remove Badges from JP~! People already said it and this will happen if you actually give WvW worthwhile rewards(as it should be). People will camp the living daylight out of every JP. And PvE’ers looking for easy badges will cause massive queue’s for the people that actually want to play WvW.

There is far better ways to receive a tons of badges – killing PUG-zergs while you are in the organized raid ^^

I know this and you know this but unfortunately PvEers do not. I don’t know how many threads I have seen crying about JP camping while they are trying to get their badges for the gift. If they only knew that if they just followed a zerg for a few days they would have 500 badges in 1/4 of the time.

The first time I’ve actually been excited about the upcoming “zerg reinforcement patch”. The thought of trolling PvE’rs makes me all warm and fuzzy.

JP’s are my thief’s playground. I get the badges from the puzzles and usually 3-4 kills along the way. The best ones are when there is someone waiting at the waterfall to kill half dead people from the fall… stealth… jump… heal… slaughter. They always expect easy targets, I can usually win 3v1’s on those.

To prevent JP abuse (beyond what it already is), reduce the badges from chests, from 10 (@ lvl 80) to 2-4, add better item drops (rares / exotics) to compensate, and increase badge drop rate from kills, so WvW’rs can actually play rather than have half the map in the JP.

You’re complaining about 10 badges? Let the noobs have their 10 badges.

That’s a whole 5 10 min of killing people in WvW.

He means the queues will be full of PvEérs in the JP and taking up valuable space that could be used for someone that would actually participate in the WvW matchup. Lowering or removing the rewards in the JP could curb this.

If it’s with a different currency i’ll be buying 5.5k badges worth of seige soon

I mean we have the daily, but there should be some combined way like less laurels, but in addition some badges or/and ectos. Just through laurels is really unfair for the hardcore wvw players…

No but you earn rings very very easy through fractals compared to laurels only. I just think it should be more rewarding to play wvw…

So is this happening, there’s nothing mentioned on the patch page? And please don’t make the sets for ridiculous badge prices like the invader set.

Hopefully this falls under the “and more” part. Otherwise I’m going to be pretty bummed that they didn’t at least get SOMETHING else onto badge vendors. I mean, Mike posted this almost a month ago.

My hopes aren’t very high unfortunately.

Well now I don’t feel bad about spending a thousand badges so i could joyride some omega golems. Looks like I’ve got plenty of time to make more. (Kitten the jumping “puzzle” too!)
